Experienced ABA tutor
I'm an experienced ABA, DIR floortime therapist and teaching support assistant, before that I worked as an assistant psychologist. During the sessions, I'm capable of using ABA principles as well as play therapy methods and art therapy techniques to offer both more enjoyable and educational sessions. My aim is to help children to reach their potential, being independent and confident. I have also broader experience working with diverse groups of children and adolescents in different settings such as children with cancer, economically disadvantaged children, and a teenager in a high school during my undergraduate. My background is psychology so it can be highly beneficial for ABA, the most significant aspect of coming from psychology background is the ability to understand and analyze behaviours. I’m capable of managing challenging behaviours, emotional difficulties and adversity as I’m experienced working children with mental health issues. I completed 40 hours of RBT training. Recently, I've been working for VB-ABA, NET-based and floor-time programme with children who are on the different levels of the autism spectrum.
Skilled ABA tutor and Psychology Masters student
I’ve been passionate about behaviour analysis for a long time now, and I’m a dedicated ABA tutor. I structure my classes by diving them into two different categories: subject based and nurture based. To explain a little bit, the subject based one will consist of me build a relationship with the student that allows me through errorless teaching to achieve goals and improve their behaviour and emotional processing. When it come to nurture based, we would be hands on working on different projects and activities in order to consolidate what has been learned. It’s a very fun and effective form of teaching, specially for students with autism.
