Online Applied Behavioural Analysis (ABA) Tutors
I’m passionate about working with young people so they fulfil their potential!
Since September 2018, I’ve been working at Ark Swift Primary Academy as a Graduate Co-Teacher where, alongside offering general classroom support, I run my own intervention groups for maths, guided reading and grammar in Year 6. With a group of 9-10 children, I plan, prepare and teach every morning- differentiating the material do that they can reach the expected standard in their SATs. Furthermore, I have 18 months experience as an ABA Tutor - working for the U.K. Young Autism Project. During my time there, I had the opportunity to work with several children who are on the autism spectrum - ranging from as young as 4 to as old as 19. Also, from September 2019 I’ll be studying to gain my QTS in A Level economics.View Profile
Passionate about ABA with one years experience based in North West England.
I have been working as an ABA tutor part time for the last year with two siblings. The older child is 5 and is non verbal with a diagnosis of ASD, ADHD and verbal apraxia. The younger sibling is 2 and is pre verbal as their speech is not functional. I currently work part time at a local crèche with children from 6weeks-13years old which I enjoy very much. However, I have found my passion in ABA tutoring and I would like to go full time as an ABA tutor to help more families and children reach their potential. I am based in North West England and I have availability all day Tuesday, Wednesday evenings and the weekends. I have a current clear DBS, first aid certificate and I am talk tools level 1 trained.View Profile

Experience 2+ years ABA, mental health, SEN and Academic Tutor
Hello! My name is Elena and I am a postgraduate law student. I am currently studying with the view to becoming a barrister. I have 2+ years of experience as an academic tutor. I have taught over 40 students from the ages of 5 to 21 and I have experience working with students with Pervasive Developmental Disorders (PDD) and managing mental health conditions. Furthermore, I worked as a teaching assistant for two years, teaching Modern Greek to young children as a foreign language. Please see the “subjects” tab to see the broad variety of subjects I teach. 11+ entrance exams to reviewing degree level essays - I have a range of experience. My teaching style is fun and engaging. I encourage students to delve deep into a subject. Studying is a skill - you need the tools and confidence to study well. It’s also what goes on outside the classroom that is important. For this reason, my lessons include organisation tips, studying strategy sessions and students can contact me during the week for help with anything they need help with at school. I create bespoke study materials to cater to each of my student’s needs. I keep track of my students’ progress at school by monitoring their report cards and I help them to set achievable goals and targets. For those preparing for exams, I help them to create realistic revision timetables and checklists. Furthermore, students may message me whenever they need to help and advice. This is included in my hourly rate. Studying is about more than just reading. It’s about learning how to take responsibility, developing confidence and finding the strategies that work for you. I look forward to meeting you! ElenaView Profile
