Online Applying for Medicine Tutors
A fifth year medical student with a passion for teaching and management.
I have over 7 years of tutoring experience, covering one-to-one, classroom, and lecture style teaching. I have 2 years of experience of teaching students with special needs. I take an individualised approach, and tailor my teaching style for the student, and focus on achieving their goals. I am not only successful at maintaining an already excellent level of achievement, but am experienced in taking students experiencing difficulties, and guiding them through their more challenging subjects. I also have 5 years of experience helping students in their admission to medcine and dentistry at university. I have lectured on the UKCAT to over 300 students and on medical interviews to over 600 students. I have personally helped over 50 students with their personal statements, and guided them throughout their application process. I welcome any requests to reach GCSE level maths, and medical and dental admissions. Different subjects at GCSE or A Level will be taken on a case by case basis. Due to my experience, and success, my lessons are priced at £40 per hour.View Profile

I’m a final year medical student at University passional about teaching!
A final year Medical student at Imperial College London (2014-2020), with an additional BSc degree in Medical Management (2018). My lifelong dream of studying Medicine became a reality the moment I joined one of the most prestigious and competitive universities in the world. This was after years of building extensive knowledge and expertise in multiple areas of study, especially Maths and Science. I have multiple interests and passions, one of which is teaching and passing on my years of knowledge to younger students! I absolutely relish in the field of teaching and communication, and thoroughly enjoy creating classes and content to help younger students in a similar position to where I was a few years ago. I attained 8A*s 4As for GCSE and A*AAA for AS/Alevel and so I have first-hand experience of the Education system in the UK and how to succeed in it. My teaching experience started at University where I conducted multiple teaching sessions through various student academic societies at the University, including Medical Education Society. I have also been an OSCE and PACES tutor to younger medical students for two years. I also participated as a volunteer for multiple medical education events at the university organised by student academic societies i.e. Mock examinations, revision days. I have over 4 years of experience in teaching University medical students. I very much enjoy teaching, and relish the opportunity to pass on knowledge to my peers to facilitate learning on a more personal level. My approach is firstly to establish an excellent level of communication and rapport between the student and myself in order to determine what teaching style best suits the student. I take a holistic approach that ensures the student's individual and unique requirements are met, whilst also creating an atmosphere of openness and clarity so that the student is comfortable to share what they want to achieve from the lessons. The lessons will be guided by the student's needs and wants, with clear learning objectives and outcomes set out for each class.View Profile
UCL 5th Year Medical Student.
I have been tutoring for the past six years. My tutees have been from a diverse range of ages and years. My methodology is focused on enhancing understanding and tackling vital questions that will determine the tutees outcomes in their exams. I focus mainly on relevant information that students NEED to know, and that is why I have been excelling in my tutoring career, as students are not bored by my lessons. I am currently a fundraising and volunteers coordinator for the NGO Human Relief Foundation. I organise events that raise money for refugees and people in need around the world.View Profile

Medical student at UCL with past teaching experience
Hi! I’m a first year medical student at UCL. I am especially passionate about helping people from state school backgrounds with their medical applications, so I am offering tuition in Biology, Chemistry, Maths and help with applications and interviews. I believe in teaching as a discussion between peers, rather than me just talking at a student. I find that many difficulties are down to overcomplicated explanations or a few simple misconceptions, so when I teach I ensure I gain an accurate understanding of students’ past teaching, concerns and questions. When in school, I tutored girls in the years below hoping to get top grades in their Maths GCSE, and ran classes for high-achieving students in English Language and Literature. Currently, I teach regularly with StreetDoctors, a charity which teaches about the medical and social consequences of youth violence and emergency first-aid to young people aged 11-25. In my spare time, I play netball (badly!) for the medical school and I’m in the wilderness medicine and SCUBA societies.View Profile
