I’m a final year medical student at University passional about teaching!
A final year Medical student at Imperial College London (2014-2020), with an additional BSc degree in Medical Management (2018). My lifelong dream of studying Medicine became a reality the moment I joined one of the most prestigious and competitive universities in the world. This was after years of building extensive knowledge and expertise in multiple areas of study, especially Maths and Science. I have multiple interests and passions, one of which is teaching and passing on my years of knowledge to younger students! I absolutely relish in the field of teaching and communication, and thoroughly enjoy creating classes and content to help younger students in a similar position to where I was a few years ago. I attained 8A*s 4As for GCSE and A*AAA for AS/Alevel and so I have first-hand experience of the Education system in the UK and how to succeed in it. My teaching experience started at University where I conducted multiple teaching sessions through various student academic societies at the University, including Medical Education Society. I have also been an OSCE and PACES tutor to younger medical students for two years. I also participated as a volunteer for multiple medical education events at the university organised by student academic societies i.e. Mock examinations, revision days. I have over 4 years of experience in teaching University medical students. I very much enjoy teaching, and relish the opportunity to pass on knowledge to my peers to facilitate learning on a more personal level. My approach is firstly to establish an excellent level of communication and rapport between the student and myself in order to determine what teaching style best suits the student. I take a holistic approach that ensures the student's individual and unique requirements are met, whilst also creating an atmosphere of openness and clarity so that the student is comfortable to share what they want to achieve from the lessons. The lessons will be guided by the student's needs and wants, with clear learning objectives and outcomes set out for each class.View Profile
Fun and friendly Science and Maths tutor
Hi there, I'm a second year medical student at University College London. I really enjoy sciences and languages and I work hard to convey my passion and interest in these subjects to my students. I am very friendly and tutoring my little sister through her GCSEs has really helped develop my patience! Having done the IB, I can offer specific advice for things like university applications and coursework as well as general advice on the medicine application process (including admissions tests, personal statements etc). Finally I enjoy music as well and have played the violin for 9 years and the piano for 6 (achieving grade 8 and 5 in both respectively).View Profile
Seasoned tutor and undergraduate at Royal Veterinary College
Having recently completed my A Level studies and going on to study Veterinary Medicine at University, I am eager to tutor secondary school level pupils. My teaching preferences are Geography and Biology, offered at both A Level and GCSE standard. I attained A* in both these subjects at GCSE and an A* in Geography and an A in Biology at A level. In both subjects I am most familiar with the AQA specification, however I am willing to offer tutoring to students studying under other exam boards. Achieving full marks in the coursework component of the Geography A Level, I am well equipped to offer assistance to students who may need help in this area. Having spent time as a Sixth Form tutor for pupils at my secondary school, I am willing to work with pupils of all abilities. My flexible and engaging teaching style centres on the needs of the student, with content provided following specification guidelines. As well as reviewing necessary subject content, a wide variety of exam-style questions, ranging from data response to factual recall, will be incorporated into sessions to adequately equip the pupil with the skills required to succeed in examinations. I am also willing to tutor GCSE French. Having achieved an A* in this subject at GCSE, I have since continued to practice the language so would be able to assist GCSE pupils with their French studies. Sessions will be composed of all four key components of language study, with exercises in reading, listening, writing and speaking covered. In this way the student is well-prepared to tackle all areas of the examinations. University preparation, particularly for Veterinary Medicine and Medicine, including Personal Statement assistance and Interview Practice can also be arranged upon request. Having undergone numerous interviews (and a large amount of interview practice) in order to gain a place on a Veterinary Medicine course, I am well-versed in the interview processes and will help strengthen interview skills to give any student the best chances at succeeding with their application. Please do not hesitate to contact me for further information.View Profile

Resourceful tutor and who is ready to teach!
Passionate and experienced in helping others get into vet school.
Just finished my 6 year veterinary degree and am looking to teach science and languages. I would be particularly open to sessions specific to applying for veterinary medicine; I have worked in the RVC's admissions department and represent them as a Student Ambassador for 6 years. This has involved interviewing students in the MMIs when they apply to vet school, going to careers fairs, speaking at schools, running open days and working at summer schools for vet students looking to apply to the RVC. I have done extensive work with the outreach team, which involved involving students from diverse backgrounds with the RVC and giving them the application help that herhaps their school was unable to provide. As such, I have extensive insight into the best methods for securing a place, whatever your background. I was offered 3 out of my 4 vet school choices: RVC, Glasgow and Liverpool and also had a Nottingham interview. I have connections at Bristol, Liverpool and Edinburgh vet schools, therefore a good insight into how they compare. I have some time off before starting a job as a vet, so was looking to put my knowledge and experience to use for a few months to help others who were in my position. My mother is french and I am naturally a linguist, therefore am as qualified to teach languages as I am to teach science/ veterinary medicine.View Profile
