Hi there! My name is Abubakar Baana and I am a third year Dental Student at Barts and The London (Queen Mary University of London). I have been teaching a plethora of subjects both privately and at a tuition centre for 4 years now aiding both GCSE and A-Level students to achieve their maximum potential. I have achieved 11 A*-As at GCSE and 4As at A-Level. It wasn't easy but having the right guidance and motivation played a significant role in shaping who I am today. My aim is to help you master and enjoy whatever you're learning by delivering the same, if not better guidance than what I had received. The subjects I teach are listed in my profile. Any aspiring Dentists/Medics? I am more than willing to help you out with your application too! 😊

I have a passion for maths!
Hi there, I am an Engineering Science student at the University of Oxford. I like to ease topics in by trying to link them to physical/tangible things wherever possible to make visualisation easier for students. This can help gain a stronger grasp of a topic.
Hard-working tutor and undergraduate at University of Oxford
I bring three tenants to my tutoring: proficiency, engagement, and dedication. Firstly, students are confident that I know every bit of the material, which is really important in giving them the confidence to ask questions and understand new ideas. Secondly, I constantly engage with my students. I ask them questions, present ideas in relevant examples, and encourage them to problem-solve in detail. Thirdly, I am committed to seeing tangible improvement from my students. That means I'll spend time and patience in communicating critical concepts, whether that means nailing down ideas within lessons, scouting out useful reading, or running overtime, to make sure my students fully learn. Current PPE undergraduate at the University of Oxford. Can give lessons to anyone from GCSE to first-year undergraduate standard, including A-Level and IB. Enjoy teaching any students willing to learn, really good at helping students to 'come out of their shell', that is those that are a bit shy or inexperienced with problem-solving - getting them to analyse and think critically. Format is similar to a tutorial format that one would experience at university.

Enthusiastic tutor studying Medicine at University College London (UCL)
Hi! I am a 1st year Medical student at UCL with knowledge in tutoring Maths, Biology and Chemistry to all standard up to A-Level. I also specialize in Medical school applications including UCAT and BMAT
Medical Sciences Student, 2+ years of experience at a licensed tuition centre :)
Studying Medical Sciences at The University of Edinburgh has been an experience that has not only helped me understand the importance and value of education, but also taught me to have pride for the achievements that you accomplish at every stage of life; emanating from an individuals hard work and effort, this in itself is a great motivator. Having a years worth of experience tutoring KS3, GCSE and A level students at a licensed tuition centre, I realised my personal aim is not only to aid my tutees in achieving their fullest potential but allowing them to go beyond so that they become ever-gratifying to their dedication, and not only walk away from their schooling years with a sheet of paper that rewards their diligence, but also a work ethic and skill set that opens up many opportunities in life. Academia addresses more than just memorising the examinable materials. Every subject tests different degrees of critical thinking, application of knowledge and strategic answering. Recognising the importance of being able to do so is vital, both in and out of the exam hall, in order to achieve success. I aim to provide my tutees with a stress relieving teaching experience that is engaging and effective, all while honing their thinking skills, alongside making learning new content a passion rather than a chore. My teaching methods ensure that the child is always looking forward to their next lesson, which enforces a positive mindset - vital to effective learning!
