I have a passion for maths!
Hi there, I am an Engineering Science student at the University of Oxford. I like to ease topics in by trying to link them to physical/tangible things wherever possible to make visualisation easier for students. This can help gain a stronger grasp of a topic.

I’m a final year medical student at University passional about teaching!
A final year Medical student at Imperial College London (2014-2020), with an additional BSc degree in Medical Management (2018). My lifelong dream of studying Medicine became a reality the moment I joined one of the most prestigious and competitive universities in the world. This was after years of building extensive knowledge and expertise in multiple areas of study, especially Maths and Science. I have multiple interests and passions, one of which is teaching and passing on my years of knowledge to younger students! I absolutely relish in the field of teaching and communication, and thoroughly enjoy creating classes and content to help younger students in a similar position to where I was a few years ago. I attained 8A*s 4As for GCSE and A*AAA for AS/Alevel and so I have first-hand experience of the Education system in the UK and how to succeed in it. My teaching experience started at University where I conducted multiple teaching sessions through various student academic societies at the University, including Medical Education Society. I have also been an OSCE and PACES tutor to younger medical students for two years. I also participated as a volunteer for multiple medical education events at the university organised by student academic societies i.e. Mock examinations, revision days. I have over 4 years of experience in teaching University medical students. I very much enjoy teaching, and relish the opportunity to pass on knowledge to my peers to facilitate learning on a more personal level. My approach is firstly to establish an excellent level of communication and rapport between the student and myself in order to determine what teaching style best suits the student. I take a holistic approach that ensures the student's individual and unique requirements are met, whilst also creating an atmosphere of openness and clarity so that the student is comfortable to share what they want to achieve from the lessons. The lessons will be guided by the student's needs and wants, with clear learning objectives and outcomes set out for each class.

After finishing my final step in education, I feel as though I have a clear understanding of how certain subjects can intimidate kids, and I hope I can use my experience and expertise to be beneficial to help overcome those obstacles. I have taught Maths and English to children aged 3 to 14 for 5 years and I thoroughly enjoy helping them reach their grades and improve their confidence in the subjects, I find it immensely rewarding when they understand difficult concepts. My tutoring style teaches students valuable skills which will take them through their education smoothly, including; time management, exam techniques, core content and key revision skills. This is due to understanding working smartly and achieving maximum potential is through a balanced split between knowledge, exam & revision techniques and time management.
