Structured revision and learning for academic success!

I am hugely passionate about essays! To get an essay structure right, to ensure a flow of argument, and a continuity of well-selected evidence is to ensure a high grade. With this in mind, my tutoring will prepare you with both a depth and breadth of knowledge, together with an academic rigour ahead of your exams or coursework. Some things about me: Iโ€™m incredibly interested and passionate in the interplay of politics, religion and human rights. Iโ€™m about to start my Cambridge degree in Theology. I have been the recipient of a number of awards: - The London School of Economicsโ€™ Political Review Essay Competition (1st Place) - The United Nationsโ€™ FERA Partner Award at the Plural Plus short film competition - Finalist in the John Locke Instituteโ€™s Philosophy Essay Competition - Awarded an Honorary Academic Scholarship at Charterhouse School

Benjamin M.

Enthusiastic tutor by day and UCL medic by night!

Experienced Maths, Science and Medical Application tutor. I have always enjoyed teaching and have years of experience tutoring. I think studying should be fun! Having said that, I hated school growing up. I was always in the bottom set, and had little motivation to improve. But through some great teachers and online tutors in year 11, I turned things around. I went from low predicted grades to smashing my GCSEs, getting 3A* and an A (Maths, Bio, Chem and Spanish) at A-Level and 4 medical school offers!!! Now I want to help others enjoy learning, as I believe thatโ€™s the key to success. Whether you just want to pass, improve slightly or massively, I hope I can help!! Thanks, Ben

Will to Learn and Strive to Grow

I have always been a tech geek and wanted to take up Computer Science after 12th. But, I took a liking to Biology in 10th and decided to change schools, dropping Mathematics as a subject. I slogged my behind off for 2 years to try to get into MBBS, didn't get through. Now that I had given up maths, Computer Science wasn't a choice anymore. I realized I wasn't actually interested in MBBS, it just seemed like the obvious choice for Biology aspirants. I was stuck between the rock and a hard place. So, I decided to pivot my career into applied sciences. Because I had recognized Biology was my curiosity and not my passion. Picking Forensic Science for my Undergraduate Degree. Here, I understood that I had a knack for problem-solving, but not math-related. The tech geek in me steered into the field of Digital Forensics, learning a thing or two. Then I stumbled onto the. very niche, field of intelligence. Taught myself OSINT & HUMINT to build the skill set of an analyst, and networked with ex-Military Intelligence Analysts. Parallel to this, seeing how I struggled with my career choices, I started an initiative called Conquering Mindset where I am building a healthy environment for youngsters to support each other and discuss these topics. With a modest amount of followers, around 500 collectively, the community is slowly growing. I conduct seminars on Personal Development, Career Choices, and Digital Safety every alternate Sunday. Informing and helping the audience improve themselves and spreading awareness. Safe to say that I don't regret pivoting my career. ๐Ÿ™Œ

Experienced Maths and Science Tutor | Oxford Scholar | City Trader

I know itโ€™s an important decision to choose a tutor and you want to make sure you pay for the right one so hereโ€™s why you should choose me ~ I am a professionally trained online Tutor, I use best in class tech (live interactive white board, writing tablet, microphone, headset and webcam) to really focus on good quality online delivery ~ I have partnered with an online EdTech platform to schedule homework and take timed exams. This will include Exam Past papers. I run analytics for each student - these reports highlight which specific topic the students needs improvement in. I base my tutorial plan on actual data so we can work on weak topics. ~ I am friendly and easy-going, I create a safe space for students so they feel comfortable asking questions. I also motivate them and push them to achieve more by using interesting everyday examples to explain mathematical and physics concepts

Final year Actuarial Science student at LSE with 7 years tutoring experience.

I am originally from South Africa where I actually began tutoring 7 years ago. I came to the UK in 2016 after completing a year of Actuarial Science at a South African university. Now days I'm studying Actuarial Science at LSE and tutoring on the side. Since 2016 I have tutored students between the ages of 7 and 19. I have worked with a vast range of students, from preparing for their 11+ entrance exams to their A-level and first year university accounting exams. Many of my past students are still in contact with me today! As a tutor I tailor my approach based on your abilities and the type of learner you are to ensure I can help you in the most effective way. Every subject and course I tutor I have taken before and so apply that past knowledge to further aid your development. I hope to help you achieve your full potential!

Tilly C.

Dedicated tutor and who is ready to teach!

My name is Tilly, I have done lots of tutoring, mainly at GCSE level, but am very happy to help students of all ages with any school support and things they are struggling with. I tutor up to GCSE level (Maths, English, Science, RS, Geography, French, Spanish) and up to A level for French and Spanish. I speak English, French and Spanish fluently, as well as a bit of Italian and German. I am currently living in London, and am happy to travel to suit my studentsโ€™ needs. I am working as a teaching assistant at Francis Holland School, so am used to working with and teaching children. I have always had very good reviews for my tutoring, and appreciate any feedback. I aim for a very open and relaxed approach to my tutoring so as to make my tutees feel comfortable about asking me any questions. I have had coronavirus, so no need to worry about that!
