I have 8 years professional experience across 5 sectors, including many years Teaching and 1 year in Journalism. During my professional career I have taught for two companies, across four centres providing me with an abundance of experience working with children and a deep understanding of learning techniques. Additionally I also have an understanding of the importance of relaying information to parents regarding progress to make sure all parties are up to date and in sync to a common goal. Other teaching experience includes having had the opportunity to teach English in three countries across the world as a TEFL English teacher. My strength in teaching lie within initially building a strong report with a child, from there I can then determine their strengths and weaknesses to focus my tuition on areas they are in need. To do this my method of teaching includes gently pushing academic boundaries to expand on their current knowledge whilst keeping the lessons informative and interesting. Outside of my professional life I am a family oriented person who regularly spends time volunteering for different charities.

Excellent Civil Engineering student offering A level Maths & Sciences support

I am a civil engineering student and I studied Maths, Physics and Chemistry as my A level subjects, from which I got outstanding results, A*AA. This led me to studying civil engineering at a Russell Group Uni - Warwick University! I am also working at the same time at a big Engineering company as an Assistant Civil Engineer. My excellent academic career has nurtured in me a natural talent for teaching. My experiences have taught me how to tackle one problem at a time, and I believe that using this approach—paired with my unconventional examples that force students to think outside the box—I can truly provide an excellent understanding and explanation. One of the main reasons you are seeing this ad is that I really enjoy teaching Maths, numbers and everything that has to do with it, because every day, every step is Maths, believe me! Also, I am very dedicated to making others understand it better and change their attitude towards this subject, as I hear many people say they 'hate it'. So, if that is you, you're in the right place! I also love teaching Sciences as they communicate us the way the universe is created and why everything happens! The first time I realised that people understand the way I explain things, was with my friends; sometimes they would understand me better than the teacher and I have volunteered at school and other organizations to teach other students. Most of the students I have taught were university students who struggled with the Engineering Mathematics modules, Structural Mechanics etc. I have taught A level/BTEC/KS3/KS4 students too!

Hi everybody! I am an experienced GCSE and A-Level tutor, specialising in Business Studies, Law, Sociology, Psychology and Mandarin Chinese across all exam boards (AQA, OCR, CIE, Edexcel etc.). Since 2019, I have tutored more than 60 students up to 180 hours in helping them achieving their desired grades. I am currently a final year undergraduate law student at King’s College London, and a postgraduate law degree offer holder at both University of Oxford and Cambridge. I have achieved 4A*s in A-Levels, and was awarded Top in the World for A-Level Psychology and Top in Malaysia for AS-Level Sociology. My tutoring style is highly versatile, where I tailor my lesson plans specifically to the demands and needs of each and every student. You can expect our lesson to be interactive, fun and engaging (because nobody likes boring classes!), but at the same time, structured and rigorous in that I will provide constructive feedback from time to time and assistance beyond the classroom to maximise the benefits you’ll derive from our lessons. The reviews I’ve received from past students include: ‘Knows what he’s talking about and goes through the content with you in detail. Very patient and answers any questions if you’re confused.’ ‘Explained work well and made things easy to understand. Communication was very clear.’ ‘Great help and support from the beginning, shows a lot of interest in helping his students to achieve the best possible grades.’
