Experienced tutor and undergraduate at Central Saint Martins, University Arts London
Personal Description: My name is Fleur and I am currently a practicing artist, working in painting and ceramics. I recently graduated my Fine Art BA from City & Guilds of London Art School where I gained first class honours. Previously, I completed my foundation diploma at Central Saint Martins (UAL) and received a scholarship to a semester foundation course at Paris College of Art. Tutoring Approach: Firstly, I think it is important that I know what the tutee is looking to achieve; whether this be better visual understanding, critical feedback, technique, or achieving an A* in their Art a-level/GCSE. Once this is determined, I will use my experience to help them achieve this. If the primary goal is to gain a high grade in Art A-level or GSCE, I would ask for a copy of the marking criteria and work with the tutee to ensure they are demonstrating strength in each area in order to achieve the highest possible result. I achieved 100% in my art a-level and Art GSCE so I have experience in working to these marking schemes, and jumping through hoops whilst enjoying creating artwork.

See shaun's Availability About shaun Graduate Fine Artist, offering 1-2-1 Art lessons Hi, my name is Shaun Burton, I graduated from London Metropolitan University with a 2:1 in Fine Art. I have been tutoring for a couple of years now, I feel creating an online presence would be beneficial for me and any new students. I'm an experienced tutor with a lot of passion and drive to teach. I've worked with children between the ages of 4 - 16, my lesson plan follows a KS1 - KS4 curriculum. However, I believe in creating a basis for each individual's learning technique. My core syllabus is enriching the creative mind and allowing the student to achieve their potential. As I'm currently in the process of achieving my PGCE I have learned many skills that I have been able to transfer into my tutoring. I thoroughly enjoy tutoring, and I will do my utmost to help those who need it.
Academic coaching and tutoring for namely those that get distracted.
I’m particularly keen in helping students with attentional difficulties, task management issues, restlessness, and other related issues. I want to hammer the notion home, especially to young people, that learning is the most pleasurable thing in the world so long as you properly negotiate your approach to it with your difficulties. I have attention deficit disorder (ADD) myself, and after feeling shattered by not meeting the standards I knew I could achieve (for example, a characteristic ADD symptom is hyper-focus on what you’re interested in: I got 98% in English Literature - something I love - at A-level, but two B’s in philosophy and politics), I sought to do something about it and developed an approach which has worked really nicely (for example, now being able to read three books a week). I am currently doing a BA in Arabic at the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), and attended King Alfred School in Hampstead where I achieved 6A*s and 3As at GCSE level and A*BB at A level.
