Experience teacher of a level chemistry and GCSE Sciences
I am a Chemistry graduate from the University of Warwick and also have A-level qualifications at high grades in all three Sciences and Mathematics. I qualified as a teacher in 2002 and have been teaching all Sciences in secondary schools since then, including Chemistry at A-level. I have also been a Head of Science and am currently working in a local school. I have taught students of all ability levels and believe that with practice and guidance all students can improve their understanding. My current knowledge of the examinations for GCSE and A-level enables students to improve their examination technique as well as their knowledge of the subject. I tutor at your house, and would expect parents to be in the house during lessons for students under 18.
An enthusiastic Oxford graduate who specialises in Maths and Sciences
I am a recent graduate from Oxford University where I gained and integrated Masters in Biochemistry. Throughout my degree I studied molecular biology and organic chemistry as well as both pure and applied mathematics. I chose to specialise in Developmental Biology and Immunology for my masters but am passionate about all things science! My lessons are interactive and engaging and I try to use “real world” examples to make key information more memorable. I structure my lessons around the exam-board specification so you can be sure we will cover everything you need to know for your exams.
Specialising in Maths and Sciences at GCSE level and below
I’m an aspiring medical student, who enjoys tutoring in Maths, Sciences across different levels (primary and secondary school students) and can also provide coaching on entry to medicine! I achieved all 9s in these subjects at GCSE level and am completing 4 A levels in Maths, Biology, Chemistry and Accounting. I completed the Maths A level in just one year (achieving an A*), and love to continue spreading the knowledge and the techniques which I have used myself. Having recently completed the education system, I have a valuable insight into what examiners are looking for in the new specifications.
