Accomplished tutor and undergraduate at University of Kent
My name is Tolu and I love teaching science/maths! I have qualifications in both Biochemistry Bsc (2:1) and Applied biotechnology Msc (1st/Distinction). I am currently doing a PhD at the University of Nottingham. My qualifications require me to have an in depth knowledge of the sciences particularly Biology and Chemistry and be very competent in Maths. I also have a lot of experience working in scientific industry which I have been lucky enough to be able to apply a lot of the knowledge gained from my education. This makes my tutoring style very unique as I can demonstrate the applications of the material learnt; creating a more dynamic learning experience from which my tutee can retain more information.
I have a strong passion for Biology and Chemistry
I am a full time, A-Level student, studying Biology, Chemistry and Geography. At GCSE, I attained a grade 9 (A*) in Biology and Maths, and a grade 8 (A/A*) in Chemistry and Physics. Due to me being a student, I will hopefully be able to give advice on exams, and useful tips on how to answer questions. However, it does mean that I can only tutor on weekends and the occasional weekday evening (to be discussed and arranged).
Hi! I'm a 3rd year medical student at Cambridge, and can show you how I got here
Hi there! I'm Anthony and I'm a 3rd year medical student at the University of Cambridge. I am happy to help you in maths, further maths, biology, chemistry and physics up to A level, with first hand experience in the linear qualifications. I also have a few strategies in place to help you get those top marks, having gained straight A*s across all my subjects at both GCSE and A level. Whether it is getting to grips with the core concepts or improving exam technique to get those tricky marks, I can help you achieve the grade that you want to. If you are looking to stretch yourself further, I participated in all the maths and science olympiad competitions in secondary school, and represented the UK in the International Chemistry Olympiad, so am happy to go through olympiad material to help you stand out from the crowd. In addition, I know just how stressful it can be when applying to medical school, and can help you with preparation for the UKCAT/BMAT entrance exams and with writing that all important personal statement. I also have a wealth of resources to help you with interview practice, be it for panel, MMI or Oxbridge-style interviews. In addition to Cambridge, I received offers from UCL, Imperial and Queen Mary's, so if you are thinking of those universities especially, feel free to ask me about my own personal experience. If you have any more questions, please get in touch :)

I’m an aspiring medical student, who enjoys tutoring in Maths, Sciences across different levels (primary and secondary school students) and can also provide coaching on entry to medicine! I achieved all 9s in these subjects at GCSE level and am completing 4 A levels in Maths, Biology, Chemistry and Accounting. I completed the Maths A level in just one year (achieving an A*), and love to continue spreading the knowledge and the techniques which I have used myself. Having recently completed the education system, I have a valuable insight into what examiners are looking for in the new specifications.
Experienced Chemist actively working in academia with a passion for teaching.
My name is Andrew and I finished my PhD in chemistry at the University of Durham and the end of 2019. My current position is an Organic Chemistry Research Fellow at the University of Nottingham with aspirations of continuing on the academia track for my career. I have experience teaching GCSE-Degree level over my studies usually in person however due to social distancing, this will be moved online. OCR A-level chemistry is what I am most familiar with however with a few days notice I can modify my material in line with the order of your desired exam board. I mainly teach by example with an emphasis of practise questions and breaking down difficult fundamental concepts into easy to chunks!
