I enjoy teaching students and helping them to realise and reach their potential.
I have had over 2 years experience of teaching a variety of students, from a multitude of backgrounds and of various ages. My moment of joie de vivre comes from simplifying a complex problem to my students and seeing the penny drop in front of them.
Maths is dope
Recently graduated from Leeds with a degree in medicinal chemistry. Currently transitioning to the IT field to become a software tester. Strong believer in everything's easy - and anything otherwise is a result of poorly complemented teaching

A skillful teacher builds a strong connection with the student through communicating and learning from one another. Constant feedback during the lesson informs my practice to enhance the learning experience. Having taught in a range of schools in the United Kingdom and internationally I have developed my practice through teaching students from a range of different backgrounds, ages, and levels. I see teaching as a trust that reflects as much on the quality of a teacher as it does on the learning of the student.

A fun and enthusiastic tutor ✨
My aim as a tutor is always to ensure that students have a better understanding of what they may have been struggling with before, I come up with new and exciting ways to teach and always keep learning as fun as I can but making sure the aim is to make children confident and have a positive outlook on work. I currently work at a tuition centre and have been now for over 2 years here I prep 11 plus and teach children of all ages, overall I get positive feedback from both children and parents. If needed I provide extra resources such as worksheets etc for children to take home and try their best to complete it. A requirement of mine is that I prefer to tutor at my own home as transport can be a slight issue at the moment :) I do assign homework weekly as I think it is extremely important to develop a child's initiative and how they can tackle questions independently. From giving homework I also gain an understanding of the child's progress on that certain topic we have covered and if further practice is needed then I make sure that we tackle the topic till they are fully confident with it. Myself I am currently studying computer science at university, other than this art is a massive hobby of mine I do calligraphy and henna when I can, I have also volunteered with charities before as I feel helping society in today's day and age is extremely important.
