Studies and exams can be stressful, having just graduated from BSc Computer Science in 2020 - i understand that too. There’s alot of pressure to meet grade boundaries and targets for students - this is where i come in. My job is to use my experience to help you enjoy what you’re learning, whilst you try hard to meet your targets. Knowledge is power and even more so when you like what you learn.
I am passionate in ensuring students realise their full potential
10 Grade 9s at GCSE: Maths English Literature English Language Chemistry Biology Physics History Computer Science Religious Studies Statistics 2 As at AS - Level: Chemistry Physics Predicted 3 A*s at A - Level: Maths Further Maths Physics My teaching style is based upon certain key principles: - Teaching to be exam specific so that students know how their specific exam board operates i.e. exactly what is on the specification and how certain questions should be answered - Teaching from first principles meaning to break down complex topics into their smaller components and thus treating learning like building blocks which are placed on top of each other, with basic topics laying the ground work - Utilising resources such as exam questions by topic, a vast array of past papers and examiners reports to learn from the mistakes of previous years - Forming a long term plan such that each session is spent effectively and towards a well - defined goal - Ensuring that students are able to explain complex topics in simple terms to ensure they fully understand I have two years of private tutoring experience as well as tutoring at tuition companies. I ensure that all students have a plan drawn up for them as well as giving them a folder full of useful resources. Students will also be guaranteed a fast response to any questions they have or any specific resources they would like.
Computing Undergraduate at Imperial College London with A*A*A* performance in high school.
I love instilling a love and confidence for the subjects I teach. Mathematics and Computer science for me are disciplines that almost any student should be able to do well at, so long as they are willing to work and are given the right resources and mentoring (which is where I come in!).
