Online lessonsFun, Passionate and ready to help you achieve your goals!
Iโm a fun loving, friendly, sportsman. I love playing rugby & cricket. As a former Head student at my school Iโve supported many students over my time offering both educational and pastoral support. I am currently studying PPE in Hull and aspire to be a government minister. My methods are adaptable to every student although I firmly believe regular testing can help students perform to there optimum.

ProOnline lessonsPassionate tutor who is ready to teach!
Currently studying at University College London. Strong believer of tailored tutoring - every student learns best differently, and it is my job to help them figure out how and adapt my teaching accordingly. I personally view being a tutor as being similar to a mentor, and hope to work with the student to develop skills that not only allow them to conquer specific academic subjects, but which can prove advantageous in many other areas. Ultimately, I strive to bring out the absolute best in my student.

Maths | Economics | 6 years experience
Graduated with a First Class Honours in Economics and Finance at Queen Mary University. I have 6 years experience teaching Maths and Economics and love teaching them both from a very basic level to more advanced. I tailor my teaching methods to cater for the needs of different students - and if youโre like me and take time to understand things, dont worry - I will ensure I take things slowly and only move on when you are happy with a topic. Iโve taught over 200 students in total over 6 years and am still looking to help students out with subjects I know.

"Fail to prepare, prepare to fail"
Studied at Ampleforth College, boarding school in North Yorkshire. I spent my 5 years there as a Maths Tutor to my peers and those younger than me, and then proceed to take the role of Deputy head of house in my final year. This experience has made me adept at interacting with and communicating clearly to those whom I teach. I have experience with AQA, Edexcel, iGCSE and OCR examination boards. I am currently coming to the end of a gap year, 5 months of which I spent travelling the U.S west to east coast. In a couple weeks I shall commence at Kings College London to study philosophy. Having only 7 hours of contact time, I want to simultaneously better the learning of children and give the same educational aide I was so lucky to have; whilst keeping myself fed. I know exactly what it takes to get a head start in the subjects I tutor. GCSE results: -4 a*s -7 a's A-Level results: -Economics-A -Government and Politics-A -Math-A

Online lessonsExperienced tutor of 4 years who studied Medicine at UCL
I am a Medical student at UCL and have successfully tutored in IB,GCSE Maths, Science and English, as well as for the 11+. Furthermore, I taught on a weekly basis, for a year, at a local primary school. I have been tutoring for the past 4 years. In the past I have also taught a course on Medicine for Oxford Summer Camps. Further to this I have worked with a lot of students on behalf of companies such as Uniadmissions and Investin to help prospective medical students learn more about writing personal statements, doing interviews and getting into medical school. My academic record is excellent (I achieved 10 A*s at GCSE and 42/45 in the IB). I always adapt my teaching style to best fit my students and have the commitment, passion and hard work to help them achieve their own personal aspirations. I have an enhanced DBS checked.

Hi there, Iโm a kiwi guy living in Wandsworth, London. Iโm great with kids of all ages, a top quality teacher and listener, and a very fast learner myself. My strengths are in numbers, finance, computers, English & soft skills, but Iโm open to yours and your childrenโs needs! Iโm also bachelor qualified accountant with over 8 years experience in roles in both New Zealand and London. My teaching style is very attentive. I like to spend time ensuring the right understanding has been made. Iโve had experience teaching through study groups and in a working environment. I have a passion for teaching, for nurturing success and for helping people overcome obstacles. Iโd very much like to become a teacher in future too. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns. Looking forward to helping out however I can! Corben Lawrie
Alyssa Miller
Online lessonsSeasoned tutor studying Law at Warwick University. Online tutoring available!
Hello! My name is Alyssa Miller and I am a first year Law student at the University of Warwick. I am half Chinese and half English; consequently, I am fluent in both English and Chinese. I have had a lot of experience in tutoring, from being a classroom helper for an entire GCSE Mandarin class, to being a personal tutor in English Literature for a struggling year 11 boy, to teaching basic Mandarin to a class full of Burmese refugee children. All these experiences have helped enhance my communication coupled with my teaching skills, it has allowed me to realise what to prioritise when approaching a new student - their strengths and weaknesses, their level of confidence towards the subject and most importantly, what learning methods best suit them. I will employ these techniques in order to ensure your child receives the best possible tutoring, and their grades coupled with their passion for the subject improve as soon as possible!

Online lessonsTutor with practical business experience
There are two tutors in our house. I have been tutoring for over 9 years and my sister has been tutoring for 7 years. I have worked in banking and management consultancy, which is why students engage better when they can relate theories to real life examples. We are both very good at what we do, having developed our own techniques, we are able to transfer knowledge rapidly.
