Resourceful tutor and who is ready to teach!
I’m a business minded tutor who loves helping others learn!
Hi there, I’m a kiwi guy living in Wandsworth, London. I’m great with kids of all ages, a top quality teacher and listener, and a very fast learner myself. My strengths are in numbers, finance, computers, English & soft skills, but I’m open to yours and your children’s needs! I’m also bachelor qualified accountant with over 8 years experience in roles in both New Zealand and London. My teaching style is very attentive. I like to spend time ensuring the right understanding has been made. I really enjoy the eureka moments and will readily try new or different techniques if I can see if a particular style of teaching isn’t working. I’ve had experience teaching through study groups and in a working environment. I have a passion for teaching, for nurturing success and for helping people overcome obstacles. I’d very much like to become a teacher in future too. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns. Looking forward to helping out however I can! Corben LawrieView Profile
Seasoned tutor studying Law at Warwick University. Online tutoring available!
Hello! My name is Alyssa Miller and I am a first year Law student at the University of Warwick. I am half Chinese and half English; consequently, I am fluent in both English and Chinese. I have had a lot of experience in tutoring, from being a classroom helper for an entire GCSE Mandarin class, to being a personal tutor in English Literature for a struggling year 11 boy, to teaching basic Mandarin to a class full of Burmese refugee children. All these experiences have helped enhance my communication coupled with my teaching skills, it has allowed me to realise what to prioritise when approaching a new student - their strengths and weaknesses, their level of confidence towards the subject and most importantly, what learning methods best suit them. I will employ these techniques in order to ensure your child receives the best possible tutoring, and their grades coupled with their passion for the subject improve as soon as possible!View Profile
Hard-working tutor and undergraduate at University of Oxford
I bring three tenants to my tutoring: proficiency, engagement, and dedication. Firstly, students are confident that I know every bit of the material, which is really important in giving them the confidence to ask questions and understand new ideas. Secondly, I constantly engage with my students. I ask them questions, present ideas in relevant examples, and encourage them to problem-solve in detail. Thirdly, I am committed to seeing tangible improvement from my students. That means I'll spend time and patience in communicating critical concepts, whether that means nailing down ideas within lessons, scouting out useful reading, or running overtime, to make sure my students fully learn. Current PPE undergraduate at the University of Oxford. Can give lessons to anyone from GCSE to first-year undergraduate standard, including A-Level and IB. Enjoy teaching any students willing to learn, really good at helping students to 'come out of their shell', that is those that are a bit shy or inexperienced with problem-solving - getting them to analyse and think critically. Format is similar to a tutorial format that one would experience at university.View Profile

Final year Actuarial Science student at LSE with 7 years tutoring experience.
I am originally from South Africa where I actually began tutoring 7 years ago. I came to the UK in 2016 after completing a year of Actuarial Science at a South African university. Now days I'm studying Actuarial Science at LSE and tutoring on the side. Since 2016 I have tutored students between the ages of 7 and 19. I have worked with a vast range of students, from preparing for their 11+ entrance exams to their A-level and first year university accounting exams. Many of my past students are still in contact with me today! As a tutor I tailor my approach based on your abilities and the type of learner you are to ensure I can help you in the most effective way. Every subject and course I tutor I have taken before and so apply that past knowledge to further aid your development. I hope to help you achieve your full potential!View Profile
