Iโ€™m passionate about working with young people so they fulfil their potential!

Since September 2018, Iโ€™ve been working at Ark Swift Primary Academy as a Graduate Co-Teacher where, alongside offering general classroom support, I run my own intervention groups for maths, guided reading and grammar in Year 6. With a group of 9-10 children, I plan, prepare and teach every morning- differentiating the material do that they can reach the expected standard in their SATs. Furthermore, I have 18 months experience as an ABA Tutor - working for the U.K. Young Autism Project. During my time there, I had the opportunity to work with several children who are on the autism spectrum - ranging from as young as 4 to as old as 19. Also, from September 2019 Iโ€™ll be studying to gain my QTS in A Level economics.

Patient and enthusiastic Maths, Sciences (all three),English and Economics tutor

Patient and enthusiastic Maths, Sciences & English tutor from primary school to A level (not including English and biology A level), also able to teach 11+ test content. I enjoy when students understand their work and become excited and engaged, I understand that it may take longer for people to grasp somethings which is completely normal and fine. I always adapt my teaching method if I know one method of teaching isnโ€™t working for a specific person until they understand rather than repeating the same thing over and over in the same way. I like to make things as interactive and engaging as possible while still teaching effectively. I always aim to make a student feel extremely confident in their abilities and ready for their exams, through promoting self belief and doing small tests after content has been thoroughly covered and going over problem areas until they are polished, leaving the student completely confident in their abilities as this is an extremely important factor when it comes to studying. I provide study plans for myself before hand to make sure every topic is covered and to allow my students the best opportunity to be completely prepared and thrive.

Passionate and experienced tutor of maths, English, chemistry & economics

I am in my final year of sixth form, undertaking the IB Diploma. Will be available to tutor after my exams are over, from the end of May. I really enjoy tutoring and have done so in the past. I am willing to put all my energy into helping others achieve their utmost best because having recently only done my GCSEโ€™s and now doing the IB, I know how difficult and stressful it can be. I am able to adapt in several different ways in order to help my student in a way which suits them. I have previously offered tuition to other students who have achieved great success. I have helped both Eleven-Plus students who have gotten admissions into grammar schools and have also helped GCSE students flourish in their grades. I have also previously been a classroom assistant at Kumon, an international tutoring company, where I have supported several students at the same time, but in different ways, in order to help them flourish. I have recently sat my GCSEโ€™s in 2017 and have achieved 4 A*โ€™s (including a 9 in English Literature and a 9 in Mathematics), 8 Aโ€™s and 1B. I still have all my notes from GCSE which will allow me to provide a lot of extra support to my students by providing them with exemplar work and by providing them with extra tips for their exams.
