Passionate tutor and undergraduate at University of Dundee
maths and physics tutor Currently studying mechanical engineering at the university of Dundee, in my third year. I have a good background in both maths and physics and have a good understanding of the Scottish curriculum having completed it myself. I find it easy to relate to younger people and inspire an interest in maths and physics. I am able to explain things in several different ways or relate it to real life or a model to fit with any way of learning your child finds easiest. I also work on boost confidence in maths as many children struggle with maths in particular as they have been told that's it's difficult or confusing rather than them not understanding it. I can also work on general exam skills and teach how to tackle harder questions or something unfamiliar. I have done a reasonable amount of tutoring before.View Profile

I'm passionate about teaching STEM subjects in particular Maths and Electronics!
I'm currently a university student studying systems engineering so I love everything there is to love about STEM subjects. Studied Maths, Physics and Electronics at A Levels achieving 3 A's so I feel more than comfortable teaching any related subjects. I prefer to learn visually myself, so I feel my teaching style reflects but no matter what style suits the student best, I'll easily be able to adapt to that!View Profile
Civil Engineering PhD student
I am a PhD student at the Univerity of Sheffield. Even if I am still studying during my Undergraduate and Master I had the occasion to do tutoring to many students either in my same course or younger than me. I mostly supported students that had difficulties and or wanted to improve in maths related subjects. However, I also did do some in languages since I can speak fluently 4 languages so far, and going for the fifth. For what concerns to my teaching style, I believe that anybody has his/her way to understand and learn things so I can not state general way. However, what I generally do is to go through the single academic program and looking to the goals of the student build a plan in order to reach them. Till now this worked out in successful results, and I wish this will keep going also with You!!View Profile
