▪️ BA (Hons) QTS primary teaching ▪️KS1 and KS2
I’m a primary school teacher with a passion for helping young people achieve their best! Having studied for 4 years at Liverpool Hope University on a primary teaching degree, I now work as a tutor and teacher for KS1 and KS2.
Very passionate about English Literature and Politics and current Law student.
Firm believer in inexpensive tutoring. Achieved an A in A-Level English Literature and American Politics. During my time at sixth form, I gained 2 years experience in tutoring English Literature. I worked with both students and teachers in order to build up my experience and make sure that I was as knowledgeable as possible when it came to examinations. I know that there are students that are not comfortable with video chat; ask me how I can still help you! :)

Experienced tutor and undergraduate at University of Birmingham
I’ve been a teacher for nearly twenty years and still absolutely love it as much as I did when I first started! I like to make my tutoring sessions fun and enjoyable. I find that making the maths and English lessons so they have a theme around Minecraft, Star Wars, Little Mix or whatever the child is interested in, really helps to engage them. I don’t believe in asking parents to sign up for blocks of sessions or anything like that, preferring to offer a more flexible approach, where we can see how the child is getting on and how best to move on in future sessions.
Hard-working tutor and undergraduate at The University of Manchester
I have been tutoring for 5 years teaching 1-on-1 and group classes to children and adults in English, History, Religious Studies and ESL. My teaching philosophy is to guide students to solve their academic challenges through enquiry and to build confidence. I teach students techniques to write coherent analytical essays and exam answers. As well as tools to manage the information and stresses associated with academic study. For me, there is no silly question. I help students learn how to study and work towards the grades they want.
Law graduate with 12+ years practical work experience looking to tutor in law
Hi, Im Amba. I am a mum to a 6 year old boy, a lawyer and law tutor! I have been interested in teaching/tutoring/mentoring students for some time and have always found ways to do this in all my roles. I provide teaching on all core subjects with some options too please contact me to discuss any optional subjects. I have experience of working with students with SEN; dyslexia, ADHD and ASD. I will help you to learn through application of law to real case studies, as opposed to "throwing a load of information" at you. This is not engaging for you as there is no element of thought for you to be a sponge. i will encourage you to think for yourself and anticipate what the next steps are. I have found online sessions to be the best form of teaching as they are that little bit more interactive, I like to follow students own course outlines, working towards any upcoming assessments or seminars which need to be prepared for. I have a patient, nurturing but firm approach. I am fun, approachable and down to earth. I will always be honest and believe that everyone should further their knowledge and would love to be apart of helping someone do that! I have been tutoring students across all disciplines of law, and differing levels; A Level, CILEX, LLB, LLM, LPC and GDL. I am able to offer other subjects which are listed on my profile as i have experience within these, i am however focusing on Law Tutoring but feel free to contact me to discuss your needs and my availability. Here's a cringy video of me to introduce myself - https://youtu.be/WBsRWiPNe9A I offer both face to face and online sessions. Face to face will have added travel costs due to the cost of travel and extra time, but this will be discussed with you. ------ I also provide a proofreading service for essays, coursework, dissertations etc .I can also provide guidance as to how to structure the essay ahead of writing it so there is a starting point which will help you obtain the best possible grade and not involve a re-write after proofreading. There are different levels of packages available which are dependant on; word count and turnaround time. All prices include a video call to go through any feedback afterwards. All documents will be returned using a track changes document. Discounts for students already receiving tutoring or for multiple essays, or for a return on the same essay following feedback will apply. Please contact me for a quote. 1. Structure planning - basic structure and content ideas provided with point of interest to note. 2. Basic Formatting - spacing, margins, alignment, font, italicisation, consistent formatting throughout the document. 2. Proofreading - includes the basic formatting package as well as; improving the formality of the language, spelling, punctuation, grammar, of essays, consistent terminology, layout of the document, correcting any syntax errors. 3. Content proofreading- includes basic formatting and proofreading packages as well as; improving logic, relevance and clarity, clarification of arguments, guidance as to a specific structure and style, standardising specific terminology.
