Passionate about teaching study skills and learning across all subjects!
I’ve had just over two years experience tutoring. I am currently an A* a-level student in subjects biology, chemistry, Spanish and philosophy/religious studies. I have a great passion for both teaching and learning, and have found that it can be a rewarding process for everyone involved. I am a firm believer that 99% of achieving high grades is perfecting study skills which is exactly why this is the unique approach I choose to take with my tutoring lessons. Helping students reach their potential
I am currently living in London. I have studied up until A-Levels and have been working in the education sector for the past 5 years. I am a qualified Teaching Assistant and have worked in a school through Early Years to Year 6. I have worked in an Education Centre for many years, tutoring students between the age of 5-11. I specify in teaching Year 2 and Year 6 SATs, as well as 11+ Entrance exams. I have also been doing private tutoring for 1 to 1 students. I believe every tutor has their own style when it comes to teaching, therefore I try to embed my own style of teaching to make the sessions fun and effective for students. Similarly, each child has their own preference with learning, hence why I would adapt my teaching in accordance to how they like, as this will make the sessions more enjoyable for them. During my classes, I try to set homework after every lesson, as this ensures my students are constantly going over what they have learnt - I am a big believer of children learning through repetition. I always focus on one topic each lesson and will not move the child onto a different topic until they have understood what they have learnt. One to one tuition gives my students the time to go through their difficulties in depth, which is why I would spend as much time on their weaknesses and help them turn it into strengths.

And enhance my skills I’m open to all styles of teaching and learning but will happily suggest my own methods that have been tried and tested.
