I help students achieve their full potential !
Hello:) I am a University student studying English Literature at Kings Collage London. For the past three years I have been working as an English, Spanish, Arabic and Sociology tutor with children ages 5-16. My passion for teaching and helping students achieve their full potential is the reason why I am working as part time tutor whilst aspiring to be a teacher once I have graduated. My teaching techniques are simple. I adapt my methods to the students depending on their level and pace, encouraging and helping them to obtain and exceed their targets. I have worked with children as young as 6, teaching them phonetics, how to read and write. Additionally, I have tutored many GCSE and A-Level students preparing them for their exams. If you have any questions at all, please don't hesitate in contacting me:) If you have a pro membership then please contact me at: firstname.lastname@example.org
Passionately driven teacher wanting to teach English!
I'm a English teacher at a grammar school in Berkshire, bordering West London for the past three years. I teach students from Years 7-11 and the diverse range of topics I've taught range from poetry and Shakespeare to 19th century literature and prose and drama. I've been tutoring students from all ages, backgrounds and abilities. Most of them have thrived, making progress. One student, for example, managed to achieve a Grade 9 when they were originally predicted a Grade 8. Another student managed to push up two grade boundaries from a 7 to 9. Regardless of what ability, as long as I don't give up on my students, I'm certain that he/she will make excellent progress.
Take your dreams and make them a reality
I am a relatable, resourceful tutor who understands the balance between hard work and genuinely enjoying your studies. Not long ago,I myself was a GCSE student… In this way,I can equivalise with you and set you on the right path. In a word,I would describe my experience as ‘Linear’,meaning it was a progressive effort. There were ups, there were downs;the key was to remain persistent and keep my eyes on the prize(results day).I knew what I wanted to achieve and I MADE IT HAPPEN.I’m here to help you do the same. I understand how important it is that a student is supported by his/her teacher.I promise to live up to this expectation and leave no grey areas.Ask any questions and let’s make the most of our time. QUICK SIDE NOTE:I’m offering to teach Macbeth,Jekyll & Hyde and An Inspector Calls. My knowledge isn’t limited to only these areas so message me and we could work something out. I look forward to sharing my passion with you🤩

Teaching in different schools and age ranges provides me with an in-depth knowledge of the National Curriculum requirements of all subjects at all primary age levels, whilst I am able to adapt on a daily basis. I cater for different learning styles through a mixed learning approach as I use various methods to help all learners – this includes the use of visual resources and learning through a hands-on approach. My lessons include varied activities, promoting creativity, and I ensure that high expectations are set and pupils’ learning is stretched accordingly to achieve these expectations. I am caring, supportive and positive. My enthusiasm for education transfers well during teaching, allowing children to develop a thirst for learning. I understand that each child is unique and all require a secure, caring and stimulating atmosphere, and I can help children to meet their potential through an environment that is safe, supports risk-taking, and invites a sharing of ideas.
