Resourceful tutor and undergraduate at The University of Manchester
I am a PhD student at the university of Liverpool and have been tutoring since I was an undergraduate. My teaching style is very problem based; I use practice questions to help my students understand the material in context, see where their strengths and weaknesses are, and help them prepare for their tests and exams. I also aim to explain the reasons behind each step to make sure they can apply the knowledge they gain, rather than just follow a recipe.View Profile
Seasoned tutor and undergraduate at Royal Veterinary College
Having recently completed my A Level studies and going on to study Veterinary Medicine at University, I am eager to tutor secondary school level pupils. My teaching preferences are Geography and Biology, offered at both A Level and GCSE standard. I attained A* in both these subjects at GCSE and an A* in Geography and an A in Biology at A level. In both subjects I am most familiar with the AQA specification, however I am willing to offer tutoring to students studying under other exam boards. Achieving full marks in the coursework component of the Geography A Level, I am well equipped to offer assistance to students who may need help in this area. Having spent time as a Sixth Form tutor for pupils at my secondary school, I am willing to work with pupils of all abilities. My flexible and engaging teaching style centres on the needs of the student, with content provided following specification guidelines. As well as reviewing necessary subject content, a wide variety of exam-style questions, ranging from data response to factual recall, will be incorporated into sessions to adequately equip the pupil with the skills required to succeed in examinations. I am also willing to tutor GCSE French. Having achieved an A* in this subject at GCSE, I have since continued to practice the language so would be able to assist GCSE pupils with their French studies. Sessions will be composed of all four key components of language study, with exercises in reading, listening, writing and speaking covered. In this way the student is well-prepared to tackle all areas of the examinations. University preparation, particularly for Veterinary Medicine and Medicine, including Personal Statement assistance and Interview Practice can also be arranged upon request. Having undergone numerous interviews (and a large amount of interview practice) in order to gain a place on a Veterinary Medicine course, I am well-versed in the interview processes and will help strengthen interview skills to give any student the best chances at succeeding with their application. Please do not hesitate to contact me for further information.View Profile
Dynamic French Tutor - native speaker
Bonjour à tous! I am a native French speaker with two Masters in Law and an MBA. After 15 years working in different countries with the UN, I have recently moved to the UK. I have loved experiencing different landscapes and cultures, and have also enjoyed sharing that experience through photography. While I am new to this platform, I have had the opportunity to tutor children and adults on different topics over the years, including French. Whatever your level and your reasons to learn French – getting your grades up or preparing your move to a French speaking country – I will be there to help you achieve the results you want in an engaging way. After getting an understanding of the theory, we will immerse ourselves in practical exercises. I can cover grammar, writing and conversational skills. I am looking forward to working with you and help you in this adventure! A très bientôt!View Profile

I have been studying a lot in my life and i am convinced the best way to learn is making it fun and I strongly believe the best way to learn is when you are totally willing about it. My teaching methods are based on my practical experiences and i know how to make people fluent. I used to teach english during my foreign studies to children and young adults who needed a strong academic support. As a long time learner (i am still studying finance and english), i will tailor sessions and give you all my tips to reach your requirements. I offer french lessons from beginners to advanced learners. If you are looking to learn, improve or some help on an ad-hoc basis, do not hesitate to contact me if you need more information and my availabilities. I am looking forward to hearing from you.View Profile
What’s better than a French native speaker to learn French? 🥐☕️
Born and raised in France, I moved to England 5 years ago curious to learn more about the people who has baked beans for breakfast. I ended up studying law and sitting more exams than I’ve had full English breakfasts... In a nutshell, I obtained a bachelor’s degree in French and European law, a master’s degree in competition law, an undergraduate and a postgraduate diploma in English law and also completed a course at King’s on theology, philosophy and ethics (yes, not really law-related but I am quite curious). I enjoy meeting new people and telling them how great France is. I would therefore love to teach you how to order croissants and baguettes, talk about social issues, trends, politics and culture or study some Victor Hugo to help you rock your French exams or simply to help you quench your insatiable thirst for knowledge.View Profile
