Boost your grades and deepen your understanding with tailored lessons!
Hi! Thanks for visiting my profile. I'm in my 3rd year of Human, Social and Political Sciences at Cambridge University. I have an absolute passion for teaching the subjects I love. Over my 7 years of experience as a tutor, I have developed the ability to tailor lessons to my students' needs. I combine my experience with my study of Psychology, which has taught me the way the mind works, and how our mind learns, processes and retains new information. Whether you're looking to boost your grades, or to deepen your understanding of the subject, I'd love to work with you to help you maximise your potential! Please feel free to get in touch so we can see if we're a good fit for each other. I look forward to hearing from you!
Native French, 9 year experience, GCSE and A-level French
I’ve been teaching French for nearly 10 years now, teaching complete beginners, up to exam preparations. I am passionate about my language and culture!
I love my country France and teaching French !
I am a native French speaker from Paris, France. I offer French lessons to students from Key Stage Two to the A-levels and i am familiar with the new curriculum. With 2 years of experience teaching French to children between 7 to 11 years old at two primary schools in London, I see tutoring as the opportunity to also work with students of an older age who are looking to explore French at a more advanced level. I bring a very caring and supportive approach to her lessons. I carefully consider each student's needs and aim to build their confidence in using the language, while ensuring that the student receives all-round support in not only reading and writing, but also speaking and listening. A mother of two children, I tutored my son and my daughter for 11+ mathematics and non-verbal reasoning examinations, resulting in their successful entries to Haberdashers’ Aske’s Boys’ School and St Michael's Catholic Grammar School. I also tutor French to my children.

French native with teaching experience, I tutor in a fun and supportive way!
Bonjour! My name is Mathilde, I was born and raised in Brittany, a beautiful region of France and I am passionate about languages! I speak English and French fluently, I also speak Spanish and I am currently learning Italian. I have an English degree from La Sorbonne, Paris and I also studied French translation in UCL, one of the top universities in Europe. I've supported many children in their education, in France and abroad, and I worked in various schools. I recently worked in a high school with students either preparing for the GSCE exams or French A-Level. In class or in private tutoring, I make sure that my students understand every aspect of the lesson. I try and adapt to every student's needs, working on the four important language-learning skills, that is speaking, listening, reading and writing. I make sure to introduce or revise key vocab and basic grammar points, essential before any in-depth work. I provide my students with various and interesting cultural resources to develop an interest for the language and the culture, so that it becomes fun and easy (it will! 😉). Though I maximise the use of the target language, I never let something unclear, because unanswered questions or doubts tend to make students give up. So communication is key to progress. I want my students to feel confident in the language and this is done by creating a friendly, adapted and supportive environment. Contact me if you have questions, I look forward to hear from you! I am An experienced CEO and Social Entrepreneur. For me It is very important to find out what teaching and learning method is most suited to the student. The lessons have to be engaging enough to prevent the student from losing interest. Most importantly it’s about finding the best way to learn allowing the student to reach their full potential.
