Enthusiastic tutor by day and UCL medic by night!
Experienced Maths, Science and Medical Application tutor. I have always enjoyed teaching and have years of experience tutoring. I think studying should be fun! Having said that, I hated school growing up. I was always in the bottom set, and had little motivation to improve. But through some great teachers and online tutors in year 11, I turned things around. I went from low predicted grades to smashing my GCSEs, getting 3A* and an A (Maths, Bio, Chem and Spanish) at A-Level and 4 medical school offers!!! Now I want to help others enjoy learning, as I believe that’s the key to success. Whether you just want to pass, improve slightly or massively, I hope I can help!! Thanks, BenView Profile
Supportive qualified primary teacher
I gained my PGCE from the University of Nottingham and am currently supply teaching across various schools. Teaching in different schools and age ranges provides me with an in-depth knowledge of the National Curriculum requirements of all subjects at all primary age levels, whilst I am able to adapt on a daily basis. I cater for different learning styles through a mixed learning approach as I use various methods to help all learners – this includes the use of visual resources and learning through a hands-on approach. My lessons include varied activities, promoting creativity, and I ensure that high expectations are set and pupils’ learning is stretched accordingly to achieve these expectations. I am caring, supportive and positive. My enthusiasm for education transfers well during teaching, allowing children to develop a thirst for learning. I understand that each child is unique and all require a secure, caring and stimulating atmosphere, and I can help children to meet their potential through an environment that is safe, supports risk-taking, and invites a sharing of ideas.View Profile

Dedicated tutor and who is ready to teach!
My name is Tilly, I have done lots of tutoring, mainly at GCSE level, but am very happy to help students of all ages with any school support and things they are struggling with. I tutor up to GCSE level (Maths, English, Science, RS, Geography, French, Spanish) and up to A level for French and Spanish. I speak English, French and Spanish fluently, as well as a bit of Italian and German. I am currently living in London, and am happy to travel to suit my students’ needs. I am working as a teaching assistant at Francis Holland School, so am used to working with and teaching children. I have always had very good reviews for my tutoring, and appreciate any feedback. I aim for a very open and relaxed approach to my tutoring so as to make my tutees feel comfortable about asking me any questions. I have had coronavirus, so no need to worry about that!View Profile

MA level graduate with valid DBS. Currently working in a secondary school.
As a graduate of both BA Geography and MA Politics from the University of Manchester, I am equipped with high level, cross curriculum knowledge. I currently work in a secondary school on a one-to-one basis and in small groups, mostly in the geography department. I also have experience tutoring GCSE and A Level students for over three years. I’m based in Central Manchester and am available to travel or work via zoom. I’ve got a high grade turnaround, often helping students to smash target grades given to them by teachers. Get in touch if you’d like to talk more!View Profile
Tiffin Girls’ School grad 2020 looking to help teach some students before uni ☆
At school I was a subject mentor for Biology and Philosophy to tutor students who were struggling. I’ve always found studying the easiest when explaining concepts aloud to someone and so my friends say I’d make a great teacher :)View Profile
I’d love to help students enjoy studying at home!
Hi, I’m Phoebe! Please send requests directly to my email as I do not have access to Scoodle pro: firstname.lastname@example.org. A little about me: I am currently on my gap year and I am excited to be going to university in September to study English. It is a confusing time and you may feel uncertain about the most effective way to study at home but I can help! If it’s English, we can read through texts and analyse together. Finding film adaptations and audiobooks is always a good way to engage with a novel as well. If it’s Geography, I can help with exam technique as well as the more complicated content. Just let me know what you’re finding tricky, no matter how small!View Profile
