In addition, I have been tutoring for 7 years, during which I worked with a range of students ranging from ages 6 to 18, with different abilities and needs. Very good tutor.
I help young people get high grades in English and humanities, from KS2 to GCSE. I specialise in poetry, literature and history, and have seen great success in Religious Studies and Geography too. I write in the mornings and teach in the afternoons. I have tutored for hundreds of hours, working both privately and for Local Education Authorities. I plan my lessons carefully and share these plans with parents; I am highly creative and every single lesson is specifically for each student.
Tutoring is as much about learning as it is about confidence building!
I am a competent tutor, with 4 years experiencing of teaching students ranging from 4-18 years of age in a variety of subjects. I specialise in entrance examination prep (7+ and 11+) alongside traditional subjects all up to A Level. I am currently in my final year of my undergraduate studies at UCL. London-based, I love exploring the city and getting to know people living here from a whole range of backgrounds.
I am passionate and enthusiastic about helping people reach their potential!
Hi I’m Layla - I am a first year medical student at the University of Cambridge. I have recently finished secondary school and completed my A Levels in Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Geography. I am very passionate about science and love to teach others to help them reach their goals, however large or small. Over the past four years, I have been volunteering as a classroom assitant at a local school and I have tutored a number of students at school in science. Having recently sat public examinations, I can also provide support on the best ways to revise and recommend, as well as provide, useful resources.
Passionate about teaching History, Geography, Spanish and English
I studied Geography, History, Spanish and English Literature at A Level, alongside an Extended Project Qualification on moon landing conspiracy theories. At UCL I studied History with a Minor in Spanish. I’m now a technology consultant at Deloitte in London and remain passionate about teaching.

PGCE Trained Teacher/Private Tutor for Early Years, KS1 & KS2/7+ Exam Prep
I am a qualified EYFS and KS1 teacher. Having completed my PGCE in Primary Education in 2015, I have been able to teach in two different boroughs. In my first year, I taught in the borough of Richmond where I taught a Reception class. Here, I was able to use my skills to bring my class up to the national expectation at the end of the year. I am aware of the national curriculum expectations within this phase. EYFS differs from the KS1 and KS2 Curriculum as it focuses on 7 areas of learning. Here, it is important to gauge how best the child learns. Opportunities within the EYFS environment allow for the class to become independent learners, and I am able to create creative evironments in order for learning to occur. Here, skills in both English and Maths are embedded. The expection with English is that all students must be able to apply their phonics knowledge in order to form a legible sentence. Through the use of song, art, word games and handwriting practice, curriculum expectations will most certainly be met. This is similar with maths, where practical activities have allowed for critical thinking to take place. In my second year of teaching, I taught a Yr 1 class in Newham. Here, I was able to again bring my class up to the national expectation, with accelerated progress in certain subjects. The KS1 Curriculum picks up from the EYFS Curriculum as it expands on Spelling, Punctuation and Grammar within Years 1 and 2. These are all skills that I have practised with my previous class on a daily basis. Within Year 1 the expectation at the end of the year is to pass the Phonics Screening which all my class were able to do. With maths, the aim is to develop reasoning skills as well mental arithmetic. I tutor Early Year’s, KS1 and KS2. I also have high expectations and believe students need to be taught the skills to become resilient learners.

Passionate Primary Teacher for English, History and Law
My name is Nouman, and this is my 2nd year of teaching. I did Master of Law from City, University of London. I have taught History, English and Law. In addition to that I promote the love of reading and always encourage my students to develop reading habit. I believe that motivation plays important role and I strive to motivate and engage all my students in learning rather than simply accepting that some students cannot be engaged and are destined to do poorly. I believe every student is capable of achieving success at school and I do all I can to find ways of making each my student successful. In my classroom learning environment promotes fun, growth, and a sense of family.

Engaging, enthusiastic tutor who’s excited to help GCSE students in North London
I am an A-Level student looking to tutor along side my studies in North London I have experience tutoring and enjoy helping people with the subjects that I am passionate about.
Academic coaching and tutoring for namely those that get distracted.
I’m particularly keen in helping students with attentional difficulties, task management issues, restlessness, and other related issues. I want to hammer the notion home, especially to young people, that learning is the most pleasurable thing in the world so long as you properly negotiate your approach to it with your difficulties. I have attention deficit disorder (ADD) myself, and after feeling shattered by not meeting the standards I knew I could achieve (for example, a characteristic ADD symptom is hyper-focus on what you’re interested in: I got 98% in English Literature - something I love - at A-level, but two B’s in philosophy and politics), I sought to do something about it and developed an approach which has worked really nicely (for example, now being able to read three books a week). I am currently doing a BA in Arabic at the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), and attended King Alfred School in Hampstead where I achieved 6A*s and 3As at GCSE level and A*BB at A level.
Versatile Tutor and KS2 specialist.
I am currently teaching Year 5 for my third year in my current school. I have experience teaching year 2, year 5 and year 6. I am subject lead for History, and I oversee Maths for my current year group.
Undergraduate at Kings College London - tutor for Geography and Psychology
My name is Hannah I studied both Geography and Psychology for GCSE and A-level I loved them both so much , I found it difficult to choose between them for university! I ended up choosing to study Psychology at Kings College London ( 2nd in the world for my course) , and am currently a first year student there. I have some unofficial teaching experience as I was a student teaching support for GCSE psychology students during my A-levels. I also hosted a debate club in my free time, so I am quite comfortable helping and interacting with students. As I am a newly graduated student, I am able to offer support with the newer specifications and have a fresh memory of student life . Student life can be very stressful at GCSE and A-level ! I aim to be a support for student during this stressful period of their lives, offering help with aspects of the course they find difficult, homework help and exam preparation ! I am most confident in supporting AQA psychology, and EDEXCEL geography as I have the specific resources to best help with these specifications.
