Oxford graduate with 1st class chemistry masters and 1 year business experience
I studied chemistry at Oxford University from 2012-2016, completing my masters thesis on new methods for detecting liver and heart disease using MRI scanners. Since then I have worked as a management consultant for a leading consultancy improving businesses across the UK in a variety of sectors. In between university and work I was part of an Oxford university team that went on an expedition to the Arctic. I was the photographer and filmmaker on the trip and we have recently released our feature length documentary. I am now starting my own business and would like to continue to tutor students as I did during school and university to support myself. I am interested in teaching science and maths, as well as offering advice to students seeking to apply to the top universities and careers.

Enthusiastic Maths teacher with a real love of the subject
My name is Jess and I’m currently working as a Maths teacher. I love Maths, but understand that not everyone does- however I believe that through helping students fulfil their potential they can enjoy the subject more. I am passionate about helping students achieve the best possible results and am always determined to adapt my style and approach to find what works for each individual student. Through questioning and introduction to topics I am to help students find a way to think about a topic that is right for them and will help them get a real grip on it. In my current role I teach a wide variety of students, from very able mathematicians to those struggle with the subject, and consequently adept at adapting my style to the students need.

Passionate Maths tutor to help you get the grades you need | KS3, GCSE
Hi! My name is Gokul and I’m currently in Year 13 doing my A levels. I have achieved A in all my AS levels which are Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Chemistry. My passion for Maths has always been substantial in my life due to its relation to real life situations and it’s use in many applications of further education. I am currently a tutor at the Kumon Maths and English centre where I teach these subjects to children of ages 5-16. I have achieved A* in 4 Maths GCSEs, including Further Mathematics. I love teaching maths as it is a great feeling when a student understands something they were initially struggling on, I am flexible in my teaching methods and can adapt to different methods if a student is struggling.

Cambridge and Kings graduate with experience in teaching a range of subjects!
I am a friendly, approachable young professional with experience working in schools with a range of different students, from SEN provision right through to pushing those 'gifted and talented' students in Maths and Psychology. I also am passionate about access to higher education and have coached students in their university applications to top Russell Group Universities. As an Oxbridge alumnus, I know how to navigate these applications and will help with personal statements, entrance exams and interviews. I aim to make lessons fun, engaging and tailored to the learning style of the individual, and am creative in my approach to make sure the student gets the best from our lessons. I'm also trained in mental health and some talking therapies, so am sensitive to the issues faced by students and am more than happy to chat outside of school topics if that is what is right for the student. I use the national curriculum, but my 1:1, informal and personable style hopefully will make students feel like they're not at school, but learning in a collaborative, engaging environment. Contact me for more information about my teaching style and more detailed pricing, as I try to keep everything as low as possible.

Maths Gcse and A level tutor
Hi, I'm a second year student at Cardiff university studying Maths. I've had some experience tutoring friends and family friends and I'm also a student mentor at the university this year. Maths is subject that needs practice and without it you'll never be able to do it. That's why I focus on practice and problem solving. I try to keep the theory concise and to the point so the student can grasp the concept easily. Then, I solve some questions for the students myself and break the solutions down linking them to the theory. I like to give practice exercises to my students so they can practice and bring back any problems they might have back for the next lesson. As I've been through the whole Gcse and A level scenario relativity recently I know how a student thinks and how to handle the situation.
