First year University student studying Anatomical Sciences!
After achieving top grades in my National 5’s (GCSE’s) and Scottish Higher’s (A levels), I got accepted into University a year early to study Anatomy at Dundee. I am currently a first year student studying evolution, cell biology and other core biological concepts as well as an optional module in Spanish. Since I have only recently completed my high school qualifications I have the best knowledge of what is required to achieve top grades for these qualifications whilst also offering competitive low prices.
I'm a palliative care doctor and lecturer in Thailand for 6 years. Coming to further my study in PhD here in the UK. Has been actively involved in teaching since I started working. Also has 4 years experiences of tutoring during my medical school years. I teach in a diverse group of students and always customise my teaching to them accordingly; medical students, doctors, volunteers, senior citizen, school students, etc. I'm aware that each student will have their own learning style and pace. And it is our obligation as an educator to tailor our style to help them soar. I am patient, friendly, approachable. And I am confident that I can help my pupil understand their subjects and get what they need. I can teach math, subjects in Medicine, and also Thai language (Native speaker).
Passionate tutor and undergraduate at University of Dundee
maths and physics tutor Currently studying mechanical engineering at the university of Dundee, in my third year. I have a good background in both maths and physics and have a good understanding of the Scottish curriculum having completed it myself. I find it easy to relate to younger people and inspire an interest in maths and physics. I am able to explain things in several different ways or relate it to real life or a model to fit with any way of learning your child finds easiest. I also work on boost confidence in maths as many children struggle with maths in particular as they have been told that's it's difficult or confusing rather than them not understanding it. I can also work on general exam skills and teach how to tackle harder questions or something unfamiliar. I have done a reasonable amount of tutoring before.
A Integrated masters Student and Tutor passionate about Physics and Maths!
Hello, I’m Jamie and I’m about to start my 5th year of my integrated masters degree in theoretical physics. Studying this degree means I am very familiar and comfortable with many concepts in maths and physics. I have tutored in person before but now I am available online on zoom or a suitable alternative. I also have had international experience studying a year of my degree in the Netherlands, so I am aware of skills needed for university not just in the UK.
