"Whoever is not kind does not have faith" - this is what I go by
I've been teaching for the past 3 years now Alhamdulillah at a masjid with the children ranging from 5 to 11 year olds and I have done some private teaching to students much older. I've completed my A levels at Woodhouse College in Maths, Business and Accounting. I can teach Maths, Quran, Tajweed and Islamic studies. Previously, I studied at a private Islamic school where I completed the memorisation of the Quran. So I can also help others memorise the Quran too.
"Fail to prepare, prepare to fail"
Studied at Ampleforth College, boarding school in North Yorkshire. I spent my 5 years there as a Maths Tutor to my peers and those younger than me, and then proceed to take the role of Deputy head of house in my final year. This experience has made me adept at interacting with and communicating clearly to those whom I teach. I have experience with AQA, Edexcel, iGCSE and OCR examination boards. I am currently coming to the end of a gap year, 5 months of which I spent travelling the U.S west to east coast. In a couple weeks I shall commence at Kings College London to study philosophy. Having only 7 hours of contact time, I want to simultaneously better the learning of children and give the same educational aide I was so lucky to have; whilst keeping myself fed. I know exactly what it takes to get a head start in the subjects I tutor. GCSE results: -4 a*s -7 a's A-Level results: -Economics-A -Government and Politics-A -Math-A

Enthusiastic tutor in chemistry and maths
I have graduated from high school in the UK and am currently studying Medicine at UCL. I am very interested in science subjects, and have taken them in A levels, receiving 3A*s. I would therefore like to share my ways of studying as well as exam techniques. I am a curious and enthusiastic individual who is particularly interested in Chemistry. I have been involved in Chemical Analytical Challenges and Symposiums. At school, I have also given biology presentations, including topics of epilepsy and effects of chocolate on the brain. I enjoy learning about the human system as it allows me to understand fully on how our body responds to different situations. I also had the experience of teaching Mathematics, alongside sciences. I have achieved A* within a year in A level maths, with UMS 581/600. I relish the logical thinking in Maths and have tutored several students, giving them advice on how to approach a question when prompted. From past experiences, I adopted a wide range of teaching styles, ranging from interactive whiteboards during online tutoring, to providing quizzes and exercises during face-to-face tutoring. I believe that this interaction will enhance visual learning and enable students to retain knowledge and be more interested in the subject. I am a native Chinese speaker and have taken Chinese GCSE and AS level. In my free time, I am an avid violinist and was the leader of Symphony Orchestra. I have taken music as one of my GCSEs before and I particularly enjoyed the classical pieces studied during the course. I hope to connect with more people and influence students with my passion for the subjects through teaching. Please contact me if interested. Thank you very much.

Medical student at UCL with past teaching experience
Hi! I’m a first year medical student at UCL. I am especially passionate about helping people from state school backgrounds with their medical applications, so I am offering tuition in Biology, Chemistry, Maths and help with applications and interviews. I believe in teaching as a discussion between peers, rather than me just talking at a student. I find that many difficulties are down to overcomplicated explanations or a few simple misconceptions, so when I teach I ensure I gain an accurate understanding of students’ past teaching, concerns and questions. When in school, I tutored girls in the years below hoping to get top grades in their Maths GCSE, and ran classes for high-achieving students in English Language and Literature. Currently, I teach regularly with StreetDoctors, a charity which teaches about the medical and social consequences of youth violence and emergency first-aid to young people aged 11-25. In my spare time, I play netball (badly!) for the medical school and I’m in the wilderness medicine and SCUBA societies.

There’s alot of pressure to meet grade boundaries and targets for students - this is where i come in. Experienced tutor completing my BA in Law
Experienced tutor, currently studying Law at university level. I have always excelled in Mathematics and English and wanted to continue my passion for the two subjects by extending my knowledge to others! I believe in making learning as fun and enjoyable as possible by pushing my students to seek enjoyment from their studies! History was not always such a strong subject for me but after a while, I began to really enjoy it. I started undergoing independent research and pushed myself to find a love for it, which I did over time! I completed my A-levels in Maths, English & Economics.
