I’m passionate about working with young people so they fulfil their potential!
Since September 2018, I’ve been working at Ark Swift Primary Academy as a Graduate Co-Teacher where, alongside offering general classroom support, I run my own intervention groups for maths, guided reading and grammar in Year 6. With a group of 9-10 children, I plan, prepare and teach every morning- differentiating the material do that they can reach the expected standard in their SATs. Furthermore, I have 18 months experience as an ABA Tutor - working for the U.K. Young Autism Project. During my time there, I had the opportunity to work with several children who are on the autism spectrum - ranging from as young as 4 to as old as 19. Also, from September 2019 I’ll be studying to gain my QTS in A Level economics.View Profile
Patient and enthusiastic Maths, Sciences (all three),English and Economics tutor
Patient and enthusiastic Maths, Sciences & English tutor from primary school to A level (not including English and biology A level), also able to teach 11+ test content. I enjoy when students understand their work and become excited and engaged, I understand that it may take longer for people to grasp somethings which is completely normal and fine. I always adapt my teaching method if I know one method of teaching isn’t working for a specific person until they understand rather than repeating the same thing over and over in the same way. I like to make things as interactive and engaging as possible while still teaching effectively. I always aim to make a student feel extremely confident in their abilities and ready for their exams, through promoting self belief and doing small tests after content has been thoroughly covered and going over problem areas until they are polished, leaving the student completely confident in their abilities as this is an extremely important factor when it comes to studying. I provide study plans for myself before hand to make sure every topic is covered and to allow my students the best opportunity to be completely prepared and thrive.View Profile

Dedicated tutor and undergraduate at Queen Mary University of London
My name is Ashwini and I am currently an Accounts Assistant at SRLV for my undergraduate placement year . Before this role I was a part time tutor for two years at Explore Learning teaching Maths and English to children from age 5-16. I am willing to offer my time to teach Maths for all students up to GCSE level and help students who are preparing for 11+ entrance exams. For GCSE Maths students, I would advise to let me know in advance of the exam board that you are following. This gives me enough time to talk and discuss the syllabus with the student prior the first lesson. Going forward I will prepare engaging lessons to ensure that the student fully understands the content and will also provide them with practice papers for full preparation. For 11+ students I am prepared to teach all 4 subjects - Mathematics, English, Non Verbal Reasoning ans Verbal Reasoning. My lessons will get the students to think outside the box and I will provide them with the practice necessary.View Profile
