My greatest passion in life is learning and my second greatest passion is teaching which also involves learning. A little bit about me. I was raised in Turkey, France, Pakistan and the UK. I've experienced great success throughout my life due to the amazingly approachable, friendly and unforgettable teachers that I've studied with and from. This, in fact, is the foundation of my commitment to helping my students. I've been tutoring and teaching for 6 years in small and large groups, 1 to 1 lessons to classrooms, from secondary to university students. Feel free to ask me about anything.

Enthusiastic tutor in chemistry and maths
I have graduated from high school in the UK and am currently studying Medicine at UCL. I am very interested in science subjects, and have taken them in A levels, receiving 3A*s. I would therefore like to share my ways of studying as well as exam techniques. I am a curious and enthusiastic individual who is particularly interested in Chemistry. I have been involved in Chemical Analytical Challenges and Symposiums. At school, I have also given biology presentations, including topics of epilepsy and effects of chocolate on the brain. I enjoy learning about the human system as it allows me to understand fully on how our body responds to different situations. I also had the experience of teaching Mathematics, alongside sciences. I have achieved A* within a year in A level maths, with UMS 581/600. I relish the logical thinking in Maths and have tutored several students, giving them advice on how to approach a question when prompted. From past experiences, I adopted a wide range of teaching styles, ranging from interactive whiteboards during online tutoring, to providing quizzes and exercises during face-to-face tutoring. I believe that this interaction will enhance visual learning and enable students to retain knowledge and be more interested in the subject. I am a native Chinese speaker and have taken Chinese GCSE and AS level. In my free time, I am an avid violinist and was the leader of Symphony Orchestra. First Year Med Student at Notts | many years experience as a Tutor :)
First Year Med Student. Here to help! Tutoring is one of my passions and I truly believe that with the right mentor a student's academic ability can improve immensely. Being a student myself, I think I have been able to grasp on what can make certain subjects daunting for kids, and I hope I can use my experiences to be beneficial to everyone. My style of tutoring will also include teaching the students about time management, key revision skills and exam techniques along with the core content of the subject. As I believe that to achieve your maximum potential in academics it is 60% knowledge, 25% exam/revision techniques and 15% time management. I am a first year medical student currently studying at the University of Nottingham and thus my schedule is quite tight. BUT I will always try to be in everyone's best interest. :)

Cambridge Uni Student who can teach Biology, Chemistry and Maths
I have just completed my 1st year at the University of Cambridge studying Biological Natural Sciences. As part of my degree I study Biology, Chemistry and Maths and so I am able to tutor all 3 subject areas from GCSE (or below) up to A Level standard. Having been through A Levels myself I understand exactly what it takes to succeed, from having a firm grasp of the concepts, to being able to apply this knowledge to the unfamiliar situations often presented in exams. Furthermore as part of my degree, I have regular small group teaching sessions and within these have to articulate my ideas and thoughts in a way that others can understand. It is with these communication skills that I am able to teach student scientific ideas in a way that is clear and concise for them.
I care about my students!
I am a third year medical school student at King's College London with great experience with tutoring, previously working in a tuition centre for 4 years. I have a strong academic background with high grades in Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics at A-Level to allow me to get into medical school.

Struggling with maths or science? I can help!
Hello! I'm a friendly, approachable 1st class pharmacy graduate from UCL and currently work as a medical writer in the pharmaceutical industry, whilst tutoring in my spare time. I've achieved A*-A grades at GCSE and AS/A levels in Maths, biology chemistry, and physics. I'd love to share my knowledge and passion for these subjects and tutoring is an ideal way for me to pursue this. I have taught Maths and English to students aged 5-14 years and have tutored GCSE Maths and Science to students in after school clubs as well as privately. In addition to this, I have also assisted students with the science and maths components of entrance exam preparation. Whilst I was at university, I took part in the Teach First leadership development programme, which involved lectures on the current education system and various teaching techniques. I also worked as a teaching assistant during this programme, where I successfully planned and taught a science lesson to year 5 class.

Tutor in Mathematics
I am grateful for checking out my profile. Mathematics is one of the subjects I enjoy tutoring. I am committed to helping students whichever way I can. I studied Actuarial Science in my first degree which entails Maths, finance, statistics, insurance and some computer modules. I have experience in formal tutoring for many years years. I tutored some of my classmates and other students. Currently, I have a Masters’ degree in Actuarial Science at Heriot-Watt University. Topics such statistics, probability, calculus, algebra etc. are all quite easy for me to teach. I am happy when to help students achieve their goals. Maths appears to be difficult because it takes a lot of time and energy. Foundation is the key, without the right one students pursuing more complex concepts are likely to face difficulties at some point. For my tutoring approach, I take my time to discuss issues with my students concerning subject areas. It will allow me to know the appropriate learning style to pursue. It will also help me know the way they think and learn.

I’m an enthusiastic Maths tutor with two years experience teaching gcse maths, physics and english
I would describe it as results driven. Since I typically work with students one on one, I always try to clearly define the goals with each one. Not what I want to achieve, but what they want to achieve, what they expect from our cooperation. Then, considering their current level of language skills, and what kind of personality they are, I come up with a clear plan for the entire year, including some milestones and tests, in order to evaluate our progress regularly. And just then do I choose my teaching methods, adjusting them with the plan and ultimate goal I have for the student.
Transforming your mind and broadening your visions.
