Seasoned tutor and who is ready to teach!
I am currently in year 13 at Beaumont School studying Maths, Further Maths, Physics, Economics and an EPQ. In addition to always performing highly and being predicted an A* in each, I find great joy in passing on know-how and problem solving skills as I have usually found these to be more universal than first thought.
I have a passion for maths!
Hi there, I am an Engineering Science student at the University of Oxford. I like to ease topics in by trying to link them to physical/tangible things wherever possible to make visualisation easier for students. This can help gain a stronger grasp of a topic.
Passionate tutor. Currently working in Medical Physics. BSc Physics graduate.
I have experience tutoring for A Levels and GCSE. I have a BSc Physics (Hons) from University of Birmingham and now work in Medical Physics. My A Level results were: Maths A* Physics A Chemistry A Further Maths A I also received an A in AS Level French and have since received a C1 certificate in French from Institut Européen de Français in 2015.
Clear, concise mathematics
I’ve spent the past few years studying in Oxford. It’s been a whirlwind. I’d like to share all I’ve learned - the maths and the other stuff. I can help you with GCSEs, A levels, key stage 3 mathematics - anything. I can help you stretch beyond the syllabus, or get to grips with the foundations. My goal is to make lessons fun, simply by being a friendly, helpful person.
Education is our most powerful tool!
Hello, I’m Emily! I’m 19 years old and currently taking a Gap Year. Next year I will be reading Classics and English at Oxford University. Outside of academics, this year has allowed me the time to travel across India and also to Indonesia, where I made memories that I shall never forget. As an aspiring novelist, I tend to spend my time writing and consuming literature, but also love cooking vegan meals for my friends and family. I believe that I learn alongside my tutees, as they help me to keep my passion for the subjects I haven’t continue beyond A Level alive.
Imperial EIE student providing online Maths, Physics and Chemistry tuition.
I am an online tutor providing lessons in Maths, Physics and Chemistry for KS3, GCSE and A Level students. I am a first year Electronic and Information Engineering student at Imperial College London. I have recently gone through the school process including applying to universities so I can assist prospective students with their university applications also. This includes personal statement help and interview practice. I have excelled in Maths and Physics at school which puts me in a unique position to help students who struggle with these subjects, especially with mechanics and modelling. Using a stylus and a touchscreen enables me to draw and annotate notes and diagrams for the student to see in real time using the interactive whiteboard. I have also completed an Extended Project Qualification where I designed a website and wrote a 3000 word report on sensory technology within robotic surgery. I achieved an A for this and I am able to help other students completing this qualification also.
Love Maths and enjoy teaching and helping other students
I am a student who was supposed to take my GCSEs this year, however, due to exam cancellations, I am able to tutor students in younger years who are going through the course now. While not having a final GCSE grade (until August), I have many progress tests and predicted grades to show I am on track for a level 9 in both regular maths and further maths, making me more than qualified to tutor in both courses. On top of this, I've participated in maths competitions on behalf of my school as well as the UKMT maths challenge every year, receiving a gold certificate and a pass into the next round (Kangaroo) this year.
Enthusiastic physics and maths tutor, recently graduated
Hi my name is Adam and I’ve just finished my degree in physics and been offered a place to do a PhD in some very exciting experimental physics! I have been passionate about all things science from a young age and now looking to hopefully ignite a similar passion in those I tutor. Experience I have gained from sitting GCSEs, A-Levels and degree level exams has taught me much when it comes to doing your best in stressful times like these and my teaching style reflects best practices; lots of exam questions and tips + tricks when it comes to revision.
It’s easier to keep up than catch up - let’s keep up your grades together!
Enthusiastic GCSE & KS3 Maths, English and Science A Biochemistry and Molecular Medicine Graduate from the University of Nottingham, currently looking for a job so have a lot of time on my hand to help. Tutoring has been one of my passions and I truly feel that with the right mentor students academic abilities can improve colossal amounts. After finishing my final step in education, I feel as though I have a clear understanding of how certain subjects can intimidate kids, and I hope I can use my experience and expertise to be beneficial to help overcome those obstacles. I have taught Maths and English to children aged 3 to 14 for 5 years and I thoroughly enjoy helping them reach their grades and improve their confidence in the subjects, I find it immensely rewarding when they understand difficult concepts. My tutoring style teaches students valuable skills which will take them through their education smoothly, including; time management, exam techniques, core content and key revision skills. This is due to understanding working smartly and achieving maximum potential is through a balanced split between knowledge, exam & revision techniques and time management.
