Online lessonsFun and passionate native Spanish Speaker!
Hola! I am a native Spanish speaker from Spain. I have more than 100 hours experience teaching Spanish from beginners to advanced level . My lessons are enjoyable and fun and you get to learn a lot in the easiest and most suitable way for you. From learning languages from a young age I can tell you I know how you feel and I know with what people struggle the most when learning a new language. Being able to master English when I came from Spain was not an easy task but with the help of tutors and a lot of speaking and reading lessons I managed to learn the language in around 1 year! You can too . I am a very patient and fun person . I will always try to get the best out of you and make our lessons as interactive as possible ( even when we will have to go through the dreaded grammar). Learning a new language is fun and it will not only make you more confident but it will also help improve your memory , reduce aging to name a few. Not only this but it will help you to be more open minded and you will be able to meet interesting people from all over the world. If Spanish is something you would like to learn and if you are looking for fun and interactive lessons do not hesitate to drop me a message.

Online lessonsExperienced tutor and undergraduate at Imperial College London
I am a third year medical student at Imperial College London, and while I am passionate about my university subject, I equally enjoyed my academic journey to get here. I have always had an enthusiasm for anything and everything taught to me - in particular maths and science - and I hope to help other students find not just an understanding for their subjects, but a genuine interest and appreciation for that knowledge alongside it. I have experience tutoring children of varying ages and abilities and believe that I can be helpful in a variety of situations individuals may find themselves in. I place emphasis on the importance of flexibility in tutoring as not all students will learn in the same way and helping students understand how they learn best will help them excel not only in that subject but throughout the rest of their academic career. As well as experience in teaching school subjects, I consider myself to be a good source of guidance for university applications. I have a good understanding of how universities select for science degrees in particular, and this can be very helpful for students who want an extra push at this stage. I am a very approachable and lighthearted person, so although I take teaching seriously I would like sessions to be as engaging and interactive as possible. My perspective on teaching is that it is never one-sided, as tutors and students should work together in a comfortable middle-ground in which both are learning and developing together. This means that I will value a students needs and opinions about sessions as much as my own in order to ensure they reach their full potential. I hope that I can be helpful and look forward to hearing from anyone interested.

Online lessonsSavvy tutor and undergraduate at University of Brighton
Mainly GCSE science and some maths, with a view to include A level biology and chemistry in the near future. My teaching style varies between students and what they may need, whether it's going over the entire subject from scratch or just answering questions when they get stuck on a topic.

Francesca Castaldo
Online lessonsHello everyone! I'm Francesca, 26 years old Italian student. I live in Brighton and I'm graduated in Automative engineering at "Politecnico di Milano". I can offer my knowledge in scientific field to anyone who needs. My subjects are: Maths (calculus and geometry), physics ( mechanic and dynamic), fluid dynamic, automatic controls, robotics, digital control system. In October I'll attend a master in UK in electronic engineering and biomedical engineering. Before starting the university, my high school was in classical subjects with languages. For this reason, I'm also available if someone wants to learn Italian or needs some help in literature. As far as my free time is concerned, I'm really into reading, hiking, playing piano, writing poems and sports. I'm also interested in art because, although it may seem something really different from science, these two fields have a lot of things in common! Currently, I'm teaching at GCSE 1-9 level and A-level. I've been tutoring for two years both in Italy and England. If you need any references or more information, please don't hesitate to ask me. Hope I can help!

Online lessonsBiology Lecturer | QMUL graduate
As a Biology Lecturer teaching at Level 3, and with previous tutoring experience, I believe I am the ideal candidate in this role as a private tutor. My current role as a Lecturer has developed my skillset considerably, prompting me to find new ways of explaining concepts so they would be understood by students of a wide range of abilities. Additionally, having served as a private tutor and as a mentor for first year university students, I learned how students can benefit from individual support away from the classroom environment. Furthermore, having worked in a primary school, a care home, a GP surgery, in retail, and shadowed consultants in a hospital, I have gained experience in a range of settings, thus diversifying my experience. In addition to my work experience, I believe I have the academic credentials to be a successful tutor. My degree study in biomedical sciences has endowed me with intimate knowledge in my subject area, which has culminated in a research project in my final year which has pushed me right to the forefront of the field. As a student having gone through the stages of the education โladderโ, I have gained first-hand knowledge of what kind of approach to take with different types of test at different levels, including admissions tests such as the BMAT, UKCAT, and 11+ examinations. I have also understood the need for education to be tailored for the needs of each student to help maximise their potential. Having gone through all the levels of academic education up to degree level has given me a strong academic base and in-depth subject knowledge that will help me to deliver the highest quality of education. Overall, my academic success has been reflected in my university, A Level, and GCSE grades, as well as those achieved grades in the admissions tests.
