Teaching is my passion and sharing knowledge is my motto.
Hi there! Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Shreeda and I am a third-year Mathematics student at King's College London. As the eldest child in my family, I have always had the pleasure of teaching my younger siblings mathematics. Essentially, that is where my love for teaching and tutoring began. Having lived abroad in Mexico and having attended various schools around the world, I have enjoyed mathematics and teaching thoroughly throughout all of my changes and have taken pleasure from it both academically and through extra-curricular activities. My grades throughout high school averaged out to a 9.2 Grade Point Average and I obtained A*AA in my A-Levels for Maths, Further Maths and Economics, respectively. Overall, my aim is to have an impact that goes beyond the classroom by instilling a passion for learning and mathematics in young teens. I would be delighted to tutor any students who think they would benefit from my help! I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Graduate from Imperial College London and seasoned tutor
I'm a dedicated tutor with over 4 years full-time tutoring experience. I am a qualified teacher, having completed a PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate in Education) at the University of Warwick. I also graduated from Imperial College London with a BSc in Biomedical Sciences. At school I always made it a point to try and clarify any doubts I had in lessons, no matter how many times I had to raise my hand! I believe this approach was very valuable to me and helped me to achieve 11 A* grades at GCSE level. Because of this, I'm always happy to answer questions that tutees have and to go over a new concept in different ways until he/she is satisfied with it. I thoroughly enjoy working with children and young people and helping them make progress and gain confidence.
I’m a trilingual Geographer at the University of Oxford looking to help!
I’m a 2nd year student studying geography at Oxford university. I have a very flexible style of teaching, very much tailored to the students’ needs. I’ve tutored at GCSE level, and spent 2 months in a school in Ghana, writing a geography curriculum and then teaching part of it. I have a love of learning that I am very motivated to pass on to students who may be struggling in their work.
Passionate and experienced in helping others get into vet school.
Just finished my 6 year veterinary degree and am looking to teach science and languages. I would be particularly open to sessions specific to applying for veterinary medicine; I have worked in the RVC's admissions department and represent them as a Student Ambassador for 6 years. This has involved interviewing students in the MMIs when they apply to vet school, going to careers fairs, speaking at schools, running open days and working at summer schools for vet students looking to apply to the RVC. I have done extensive work with the outreach team, which involved involving students from diverse backgrounds with the RVC and giving them the application help that herhaps their school was unable to provide. As such, I have extensive insight into the best methods for securing a place, whatever your background. I was offered 3 out of my 4 vet school choices: RVC, Glasgow and Liverpool and also had a Nottingham interview. I have connections at Bristol, Liverpool and Edinburgh vet schools, therefore a good insight into how they compare. I have some time off before starting a job as a vet, so was looking to put my knowledge and experience to use for a few months to help others who were in my position. My mother is french and I am naturally a linguist, therefore am as qualified to teach languages as I am to teach science/ veterinary medicine.
Accomplished tutor who is ready to teach!
I am currently a gap year student who wants to help and support kids with their current studies in Spanish. I enjoy using interactive elements in my teaching to help engage and involve the students more. My enthusiasm and caring nature will allow me to be adaptable to best support the students and their educational needs.
I am passionate about teaching Spanish
I am a teacher who is currently working in a nursery school and teaches Spanish during my spare time. I started to give lessons since I finished my university degree, nearly 10 years ago. My passion is teaching Spanish and help students to achieve their goals. I base my classes in learning by having fun. I like to create my own materials for each student, every person is different and we all learn in different ways. With my students, children and adults, I like to play different games, we learn and have fun at the same time.
I am really passionate about languages, music and art. I love teaching kids about my language and culture and I think this is a great opportunity for me to get started. Before coming to England I gave private lessons to three kids in my town 2 evenings a week. I have also been a music teacher during my first months in England.
