If the side lengths of triangle ABC have the ratio 2 : 3 :4 and the perimeter is 108 calculate each side length for triangle ABC?
If the ratio of the sides is 2, 3 and 4, we can say that an equal part x is part of each quantity. Hence 2x, 3x, and 4x. These are the lengths of the triangle. The perimeter is 108 and adding the lengths gives 9x. Therefore x is 12. Lengths are: 2*12 = 24, 3*12 =36, 4*12= 48
