I'm an A level chemistry teacher with 10 years of full time classroom experience at post 16 and 5 at secondary school. I consider it important for my students to feel comfortable and able to ask questions and attempt answers. I have experience teaching students with English as an additional language as my prior college had an international school as well as UK students. I start with assessing prior knowledge and breaking the material down into stages with increasing complexity and then always include past exam questions to help students improve on their exam technique
