Find the rule for the nth term 7,10,13,16?

Just FYI this was posted under English. 7 to 10= +3 10 to 13= +3 13 to 16= +3 So you know after each term you ad 3 So it will be 3n + x You must find the 0th term So do the inverse to the first term so: 7-3 which = 4 So the nth term is 3n+4 Hope that helps!

Hi there: The first the terms- so you have to substitute in 1, 2 and 3 in place of n. So the 1st term: 3(1)-2= 3-2= 1 The second term: 3(2)-1= 6-1= 5 The third term: 3(3)-1= 9-1= 8 Hope that helps!

This can be very easily broken down: Start with what you know- leave any prime numbers once you find them: 540- 2x270 270- 2x135 135- 5x27 27- 3x9 9-3x3 2x2x5x3x3x3 Collect like terms: 2^2 x 5 x 3^3 There you go!

At the start of 2014 Lucy’s house was worth £200,000 the value o f the house increased by 5% every year work out how Mutch Lucy’s house will cost in 2017?

This is compound interest. Every year Lucy’s house is gaining another 5% in value. You should work it out like this: 2017-2014=3 You can consider you need to add 5% of the value of the house three separate times- so 200000x 1.05x 1.05x 1.05 Or 200000 x 1.05^3= 231525 Answer= £231525

X could be anything in between 6.25 - 6.35 as all the values in between when rounded to 1d.p give 6.3 I would write it as: 6.25 <_ x < 6.35 As x is greater than or equal to 6.25, but less than 6.35.

If £2000 is placed into a bank account that pays 3% compound interest per year, how much will be in the account after 2 years?

In this scenario, value of the money increases by 3% each year for 2 years. To illustrate this: 2000 x 1.03 x 1.03 I have multiplied it by 1.03 twice as the question is asking for the value of the account after 2 years. This can also be written as: 2000 x 1.03^2 = £2121.80 Hope it helps!

How to find point of contact?

Equate the equations of both lines together and find the common x co ordinate. Sub it into any equation of either line and solve for the y co ordinate- and you have the X and Y co ordinate for the Point of contact.
