A covalent bond is between 2 non-metals i.e Cl2

What is the difference between an ionic bond and a covalent bond? Can you give me real life examples of both?

Hi Lola, 

You will need to apply 2 basic mechanics equations of motion. The best way to do this is by writing down what you are given and what you need to work out. For part a you can use x=0.5(intial v+final v)*t that gives you an intial v of 18.75 m/s. To work the acceleration( in this its going to be negative) you can use vfinal= vintial + a*t that is -5.86 m/s^2 .  Hope this helps

Whats the highest number each number can go up to before it rounds up? Its +4 as each number will round up otherwise. So if the rounded up numbers were 10,20,30,30. They can go up to 14,24,34,34. So its 106.

Geothermal energy as the name implies is heat coming from the earth. The earth’s core is super hot and their are hidden hot water reservoirs or steam miles beneath the surface of the ground. This can help us generate electricity by using the steam to turn turbines. Geothermal is a renewable source as well.

Firstly you can start by giving Lucy’s a variable call it L. Then you can turn this word problem into an algebraic equation: (1/7)L+(1/5)L= 12 
You can now add the 2 fractions by finding the lowest common multiple and work out what L is.
