let “x” be the total volume of the container, then we know:

(1/4)x + 2240 = (5/6)x

find a common denominator:

(3/12)x + 2240 = (10/12)x

rearrange the formula to get “x” on one side:

2240 = (7/12)x

divide by (7/12) on both sides (which is the same as multiplying by (12/7)):

2240(12/7) = x

x = 3840

The total volume of the container is 3840ml.

k = 350 * (0.002^3)  = 2.8*10^-6

now our formula is:
x = 2.8*10^-6 * (1/r^3)

we plug in 0.005 and we get:

x = 2.8*10^-6 * (1/0.005^3)= 22.4 ~ 22

not sure what you mean exactly, but in mathematics the nth term usually refers to an unspecified finite number. This is usually to do with sequences and series.

so if i have a sequence with the formula (x+2), then the 1st term would be 3, the 2nd term would be 4, and the nth term would be n+2.


Does anyone know how to explain the nth term to me because no matter how much I try it’s just one of those things I don’t get! Please Helpppp!!
