Coding teacher, previously Software Engineer at Google and studied CS at UCL
Former teacher (5 years) now working as a Software Engineer and Designer. Previously I worked for Google and Codecademy, a long with a bunch of other startups. My academic background is in Computer Science which I studied at UCL, achieving a First (1:1 / 4.0 GPA). I’ve won multiple awards for Software Engineering, and I have previously taught at coding bootcamps for students of all ages. My teaching style aims at making students independent and comfortable in their area of study. Teaching has been a big part of my life up until now, so even when I’m not teaching, I’m thinking of other ways to help students and teachers do better!
Maths | Economics | 6 years experience
Graduated with a First Class Honours in Economics and Finance at Queen Mary University. I have 6 years experience teaching Maths and Economics and love teaching them both from a very basic level to more advanced. I tailor my teaching methods to cater for the needs of different students - and if you’re like me and take time to understand things, dont worry - I will ensure I take things slowly and only move on when you are happy with a topic. I’ve taught over 200 students in total over 6 years and am still looking to help students out with subjects I know.

Passionate tutor making maths easier to grasp
Hi, if you're reading this, you're probably looking for an enthusiastic maths tutor who can just make maths simpler and easier to grasp. I understand that different students prefer a different method to learn concepts hence I like to approach the question in a few different ways to enhance understanding. Tutoring at several tuition centres recently, I am familiar with the new GCSE style questions of the 9-1 syllabus. Moreover, Maths is one of my favourite subjects hence I like to teach with passion, so the student can maintain focus during the lesson. Maths may be the most boring and worst subject for you, hence it's important that there is an element of enthusiasm for the student to learn and stay focused subsequently. I believe tackling exam-style questions is the best way to apply your knowledge and this will be set as homework for the topics covered in the lesson so that the student can put what they've learnt into practice and be ready with questions in the next session. Past experience: Top Mark Tuition Centre, Leytonstone (3 months) LBD Tuition Centre, Barking (4 months)

A* further maths tutor available for lessons or help with assignments.
Hello, I'm Andres! I am a 2020 sixth form graduate with a strong passion for maths and sciences wanting to help all kinds of students improve their abilities in these subjects and thus getting better grades. * Experience: I have been a tutor since 2018. I have taught a range of students, from primary school all the way to year 13 and gap year students. I offer lessons for maths, physics and computer science for all levels and I am also available for online tuition. * Teaching style: I base my lessons on doing past papers or questions from recommended sources so that students learn exactly what is required to maximise their marks in the exam. I also put emphasis on ensuring the student truly understands all the concepts behind each answer so that they don't feel like they memorising and regurgitating.
I am a friendly tutor studying for a PhD in International Relations at the LSE
I am currently a doctoral researcher at the LSE's Department of International Relations (IR) - one of the world's leading universities for this subject. As part of my PhD, I have also been awarded ESRC funding, which is highly prestigious (only two awards are made by the department each year). While my specialism is in the politics and IR of East Asia, my broad training and experience mean that I have expertise in a range of IR and political theory, as well as regional expertise in the UK, Europe, US etc. Previously I obtained a first-class undergraduate degree from Cambridge (Trinity College), and distinction-grade master's degrees from SOAS University of London and the LSE. My writing has been published in both academic and journalistic sources. Between my undergraduate and master's degree, I trained as a lawyer and worked for three years at the top international firm Slaughter and May. Ultimately, however, I decided that a career in commercial law was not for me, and returned to university to pursue a career in academia and teaching. I have several years' experience of tutoring particularly undergraduate and postgraduate students in a range of social science subjects. Previously, this focused in particular on Law, given my professional background; however, my tutoring focus is now on IR and politics. I have received consistently positive feedback from my tutees. In some cases, tutees' grades have improved from a 'failing' grade up to a 'distinction' level grade following my tuition. I can also assist students with Oxbridge admissions support, including admissions test preparation.
