I’m passionate about teaching drums and guitar. Looking for beginner students!
Hello! My name is Lee, I’m 33, and have been a rock and pop musician since 1998. I’ve have played guitar and drums in different bands, as well as my own projects, for nearly as long. Examples of my playing can be found on Soundcloud and Spotify. https://m.soundcloud.com/user-215206218 Spotify: Torque Armada (Parental Guidance is advised). I am also an experienced Teaching Assistant (SEN and Mainstream) of over two years. References and copies of my DBS Certificates are available. Now why am I here? Well, I’m looking for new students/budding musicians (adults and children) in the South-West London and Surrey areas for lessons (hour and half hour). In other words, I want to pass down my years of experience to you! My location is Surbiton, Surrey, but travel isn‘t a problem. I'm also flexible with schedules, so we can make each lesson work around you. And my rates are competitive (prices on request). So, if you or your child wants to learn rock and pop guitar and drums, then I'm here to work with you/them from the ground up. We'll start from the beginning and, step by step, turn that budding beginner into a promising musician. Sound good? If it does, and you think I'm the teacher who can help you or your child, then please get in touch and we’ll arrange that first lesson ASAP. Thanks!
A supportive and engaging tutor with an aim for success
Hi! My name is Sohini, a friendly and helpful tutor currently studying Maths at the LSE because of how much I love the subject and teaching it, so I would say that I major in Maths. Nevertheless, I have always enjoyed learning and teaching languages to others, in particular Spanish, French and Bengali. To quickly describe myself, I am 21-years old and have worked as a tutor for approximately 5 years now. From my experiences, I have picked up new and creative ways to make education as enjoyable and enlightening as possible. For a short time, I did also work as a fundraiser for multiple charities which enhanced my optimism and made me more confident with my abilities. In short, I don't give up. I consistently try to improve the development of my students so that they are satisfied with their quality of education and level of confidence. I have experience working at homes, schools and tutoring centres, and I have mostly worked with those aged between 5 and 17, both while employed and while volunteering. However, I have never limited myself to a particular age when it comes to taking students - learning is for all ages! Finally, I am flexible, both in time and lesson rate, and quick to respond to messages for lessons so feel free to message me, even if you don't see the time slot you want. Last updated: 24/07/18
Skilled maths and sciences tutor- UCL graduate and a medic.
I am Wahid and am a medical student. I studied Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics at A-level and Economics at AS level. I have previous experience of teaching maths and sciences both at A-level and GCSE level. This experience alongside my BSc in Biomedical Sciences from UCL will ensure that you receive high quality of teaching- so that you achieve your full potential. I believe that teaching should be active and inspire students. I would describe myself as a friendly and approachable individual with good communication skills. Communication not only encompasses the ability to deliver a good lesson but also being a good listener and being responsive to the needs of students. From my experiences I have learnt the critical role of instilling confidence in students- it is a process and takes time. My approach is student-centres. I am looking forward to hearing from you and please feel free to get in touch!
Hi, I'm Anum. I recently graduated with a Bachelors of Electrical Engineering from NUST. I have always been a dedicated student throughout my academic years and have learned how effective different approaches could be to solve complex problems. I have always been a curious soul and have needed to know how a theoretical concept from books connects to our everyday life. That has helped me be an excellent learner. I'd like to cultivate similar skill in my students. I am especially interested in teaching concepts of physics, mathematics and english with an emphasis of their application in real-life!
I have a PGCE from The University of Winchester and have been teaching for the past 8 years. I have experience from Reception /KG all the way to teaching adults English. I have worked in Dubai as a teacher and tutor for 3 years and now back in the UK. Always use fun techniques making sure my student is always engaged and making progress in their own time.

Tutor with practical business experience
There are two tutors in our house. I have been tutoring for over 9 years and my sister has been tutoring for 7 years. I have worked in banking and management consultancy, which is why students engage better when they can relate theories to real life examples. We are both very good at what we do, having developed our own techniques, we are able to transfer knowledge rapidly.
Experienced tutor with an Engineering PhD
I am a professional engineer with a PhD and over 5 years of tutoring experience. I am available for teaching Maths and Science for up to GCSE level. Outside of work I am involved in outreach activities to promote science and its growing potential to inspire young students. I am passionate about inspiring young students and like to help them overcome their fear of maths and science subjects from an early age. I have also worked with students with learning disabilities and have helped them improve their reading and writing skills.
