I am a qualified maths teacher with several years experience of teaching GCSE maths to pupils both online and in person. Here are some testimonials from former pupils and their parents: My family and I would like to say a massive thank you for all the help you have given me the past two and a half years. Thank you for all your help. I really appreciate it. Thank you. It was a privilege for my daughter to have been taught by you for the past two years, she has made excellent progress with your help. Thank you so much for all your work. We can not thank you enough. Not only has your work helped his maths, it has also helped his overall confidence in his abilities so much. It has helped him develop a more positive approach to his work and abilities. Thank you, you really are a fantastic tutor!View Profile
I'm very passionate about teaching, friendly and always approachable.
I have been a private swimming teacher for 5 years, during which time I got my Masters degree in Physics at Loughborough University. After this I achieved my CELTA qualification for teaching English as a foreign language with International House in Thailand. Before this time I have been a Maths tutor for both Primary and Secondary level children. Part of the third generation of teachers in my family I understand and believe that learning happens through understanding not just remembering. I feel the education is much stronger when I can help someone find a route to an answer themselves instead of giving them the answer and telling them how to get there.View Profile

Graduate from Guildhall School of Music and Drama and a fun and insightful tutor
I am a multi-skilled musician with experience dating back to my own early childhood. From learning the recorder at age 4, I have come a long way towards cementing my relationship with music. I have grade 8 qualifications in Piano, Clarinet and singing, with transferable skills on the alto saxophone. I have made studying music my life’s work, and now have a BA in music from Bristol University, and an MA in Jazz Performance (Singing) from the world-renowned Guildhall school of Music and Drama in london. I am now a professional jazz singer and perform with big bands, small jazz groups and much more, and regularly travel all over the UK to sing. Having always been in multiple music groups, I therefore have diverse ensemble skills such as orchestral playing and conducting, choral singing, choral and orchestral arranging and composing, chamber music groups, musical theatre bands and musical theatre singing ensembles, playing and singing in jazz ensembles. I believe learning music well comes from many disciplines, from developing technical instrumental skills to training the musical ear. I aim to address a fully rounded musical approach in my teaching- not just learning notes, but learning expression and delving deeper into the music theoretically and emotionally. I am experienced in a wide rane of genres and am keen to accommodate the individual student’s musical taste so as to motivate them in a genre that they love. I always check with the students what they want to achieve and find the best way to do that, while reviewing goals as I go along. I hope to be able to inspire people to follow music throughout their lives as it can become a hugely impactful skill and passion.View Profile

Maths and Physics makes the world go round (literally)!
I’m Nathan, a physics undergrad from the University of Nottingham. All of physics is fascinating to me but my favourite areas are its medical applications; from nuclear medicine in treating cancer to looking inside the body using huge magnets! Passing my knowledge onto others, and helping them reach their potential is one of the best feelings in the world, and something I hope to achieve here. Other than Physics, I enjoy cooking, movies and scuba diving.View Profile
