What is the range of 3 7 2 4 7 5 7 1 8 8?
The range is the largest value minus the smallest value. In this case: 8 - 1 = 7, so the range is 7. Sometimes, it can be helpful to list the numbers from smallest to largest so that you can make sure you haven’t missed the values that you need by accident :)

Find 3x + 5y when x=4 and y=2?
This question just involves substituting values into 3x + 5y. Basically, we just replace x with 4 and y with 2, so we get 3(4) + 5(2). Then, we multiply 3 x 4, and 5 x 2. This leaves us with 12 + 10, which is 22.

Fill in each box with either < or > to create a correct inequality A) 6.5 ? 6 B) 8.56 ? 8.71 C) 7.86 ? 7.84?
> means greater than, so < means less than. In this case 6.5 is a bigger number than 6, so 6.5 > 6. Therefore, 6.5 > 6 8.56 < 8.71 7.86 > 7.84
