"I have been a classroom teacher since 2010: as a trainee teacher, classroom teacher and as a supply teacher to primary and secondary schools in the UK. As a tutor, I travel to students' residents for tuition. I inquire about learning goals, I find out the learner's current attainment (sometimes liaising with the school or college or reading school report or discussing with parents) and together we draw up a scheme of learning. I believe in supporting, motivating and preparing students to achieve in public examinations. I have a flexible approach to teaching that takes into consideration different learning styles, hence I endeavour to create variety in lessons, making use of activities during which learning takes place.
