I have been a mentor for other students throughout university so I have dealt with the stresses and demands that come with education. Henceforth, I want to alleviate these pressures by helping students to become more confident in their own abilities and support them during their education. I am very enthusiastic with teaching and have a patient approach to learning. I believe that good teaching requires good communication from both parties, thus my students can expect effective communication during tutoring sessions and consistent updates outside of tutoring hours. Additionally, I like to encourage my all my students to improve and develop important skills such as independent studying and critical thinking that will be crucial at higher level education and future job prospects. As a medical student, I have been through the rigorous selection process of medical schools. Therefore, I am able to give valuable advice regarding UKCAT, Personal Statements and Interviews (Panel or MMI) for aspiring medical students. As well as UCAS related university advice for students who are looking at higher education. Having done a BSc has enabled me to explore further opportunities in higher education where I was successful in publishing my dissertation on a scientific journal (http://erc.endocrinology-journals.org/content/25/7/705.abstract). Therefore, I am confident that I can also support students in areas that require essay writing and dissertation editing. I look forward to hearing from you and relish at the prospect of fulfilling a rewarding tutoring experience. Thomas
