Which dramatic methods could you analyse in an extract of a play?
Foreshadowing, stage directions, use of props, dialogue, monologues and soliloquy. These are usually the most fundamental and crucial to creating dramatic purposes and effect. There are also more subtle ones like characteristics, themes and metaphor. Also symbolism is a good one for plays.
